I'm glad it's not just me......but also sorry that others feel pah. Other than my scratchies this morning, I have made no money whatsoever, which is not the idea.......

Everything is just so slow to load, each page takes forever and trying to have two sites open at the same time eg will hill and betfair, and to switch between the two looking for decent odds is just not happening in "real time".........I will end up with one half of the bet on, and the other hanging with me not knowing how to put it right if it goes wrong, so I will have to admit defeat until I get my own laptop back......bah!

That's why I had to give up on matched betting, my internet connection was so slow and bad that I knew I could easily lose money. It was brilliant when we had good internet. Now we've got good internet it still takes a while to get the courage up to try again. But it's definitely on the action list but starting up on the safer things first :)

Admittedly, today has been one of those days when you know you're struggling against the tide, I did wonder about giving up but then decided to stick it out and actually managed to get some things sorted, and it turned out they would have been just as bad tomorrow and spoilt another day, so it was worth the effort :)

I sent my OH and 2 sons shopping to get a dessert or 2 (about 8 people) as we'd got friends visiting for a meal. When they came back I was amazed by about 6 family sized desserts, they did admit they thought it looked a bit strange when they saw them all going through the till

I couldn't believe it when I unpacked the shopping, I ended up sitting on the floor collapsed laughing.

I'd fortunately got some freezer space :)

When I send OH by himself it's bad, but with DS's it's just going to be expensive.

Hope you've got some freezer space.

Struggling against the tide - yup, that's definitely how I feel. I will pick myself up out of it, I know, but I hate feeling this way......sorry for myself, that's all, but not nice.

I've made cottage pie for dinner - being a good MSE'er and bulk cooking and bulking it out with veg etc.......and I don't even bloody fancy any.

    Bah!

No freezer space required - quite the opposite - very large bill but nothing to show for it except some extremely soft toilet rolls.......and some very very expensive tins of tuna

The word "value" doesn't make an appearance.......but the word "luxury" does........at a cost.......I am sure the tuna was the best treated tuna in the whole of the deep blue sea.......and my bum will surely be oh so grateful for the additional quilt-like feel of the toilet tissue.....I feel like separating the layers to make it go further to recoup some of the cost and if anyone DARES to feed the cat with tuna this week, they will soon know about my mood......
