Cambridge.........that's nice too and very MSE because you can spend all day wandering around University colleges pretending to be a skint academic!
I am a skint academic... lol! (seriously... just a really junior one!) I'm a (mad :p) scientist! :rotfl: I was in Cambridge a few months ago. We had the conference dinner in Kings College... very impressive. :D We were supposed to have a lab "meeting" while punting on the cam too but were too hungover!

Thanks everyone... Hmmmmm... transport links 1st is a good idea... but as I can easily access the East and West coast mainline train lines plus buses to all over I'm not sure it narrows it down any! :o Names out of a hat it is then... :rotfl:

Rainy me too... :rotfl: I will do in it 2010! *insert determined smiley* :D

Bob / Shaun...  :rotfl:

I didn't even know kitkat came in dark choc... must brush up on my choc knowledge. I seem to be missing out on all sorts of yummy things! Not sure this thread is good for my waist though! :rotfl:

Thanks for the travelodge tip. Think 2010 will be the year I explore York (as long as it has a cheap travelodge!)

The end of a very long week is finally here :o Considering I had a day off work at the start of the week, it really does feel as though I have done more than 4 days!

My neck is improving, though, so that is a good thing - still very stiff and uncomfortable, but not so painful, and with a bit more movement, so hopefully that will result in some better sleep over the weekend.

I have a chilli cooking in the slow cooker so at least dinner is more or less sorted.....just need to do some rice.

But first - coffee......hope you have all had a good day x
