Sea!! Lovely to see you - I was just thinking of you the other day and hoping you are ok.......let me know how you are getting on!

Yes, the unsecured is on its way out.....if I didn't keep spending on fancy trips for the children, it would be gone by now......but still hoping it will be gone by Easter.

TFI Friday.......payday came early - it is not due until Monday, but when I logged into online banking it was there already, so that was nice to be greeted with. £5 on BB this morning for OH and scratches gave me 50p which makes a welcome change from the more usual 10ps.

Busy day ahead, but I want to try and do my number crunching for the next month at lunchtime if I can.....the weekly housekeeping thing has worked, and I ended up with a small credit balance at the end of the month, so that is going to continue for the time being. Today, though, I have got the car tax - only 6 months because I am fed up of it being due near Christmas......so will do 12 months next time it comes up in May and hopefully that will help things next year.

Morning - thats a good idea to get the car tax on a different schedule, horrible to have it near Christmas. Hypno, your unsecured debt was at £21k or so a week ago, wasn't it? And you put the council tax refund to the Hypnettes skiing.... I've missed something...........

And in other news......... Hello Sea! How you doing?

No, total debt is 21k, of which unsecured is £11k ish.....the rest being the secured loan which is running alongside the mortgage.

So I've not suddenly found £10k to clear debt with - I wish!!

The council tax refund went to the kids skiing, yup, and the good thing is that the Norway part of the whole exercise is now covered, due to the council tax refund, free bingo stuff, and careful budgeting in November.....

So I just (lol) have to find the money for DS to go to France, which I need to pay before the end of the year.......
