Tax rebate has gone in so my savings are looking good - over 10% there! It will slow down a lot now but it was a nice start.

Hope you all have lovely Saturdays - OH is away so am taking children to the cinema to watch A Christmas Carol with Jim Carey in it (I get half price entry because I am a student) will let you know what its like.

Morning all - I have been up for ages but not able to post because OH stupid laptop can't keep up with my speed of doing things!! It has taken me over an hour to complete my £5 free bingo so far this morning because the bloomin thing keeps freezing.......

Won £5 though, so can't complain too much, but have still to do banking and scratching,.......my own laptop will let me do them all at the same time, but this one is so obviously of the male species because it cannot multitask :rolleyes:

I've got to drive to South Wales this afternoon - yay :rolleyes: The weather looks lovely out there, (not) - the storm is well and truly here, so I hope it calms down a bit......DD has to go to work this morning so we are not setting off until after lunch, but I'm not exactly looking forward to the drive!

Llama, that is good news about the savings boost! Enjoy the cinema!

OH has won £10 on bb but it won't let me deposit - I suspect it is a problem with the halifax site because it won't let me sign on for online banking either to check what's what......bah!

Hopefully I can sort it before I go this afternoon, because I am not back until tomorrow night, late, and won't be taking a laptop with me......ah well, it won't be the end of the world if it doesn't get sorted, but it would be nice if it did!

OH has now won £15 total today from bb, but I still can't deposit in order to withdraw....grrr. Oh well, it is not "my" money, so if I can't get at it then it is not the end of the world - I have sent them an email, but still can't get onto halifax online so I think the problem is at their end....do they not know how inconvenient it makes things!!

I can't even get the Halifax website to load, nevermind the online banking! Hope you manage to get your money.... because technicaly it is yours! OH has two scratchies accounts the same as me, but until he makes the effort to scratch every day, he doesn't get the reward
