Hello, another lurker popping out from lurkerville here.
Just want to warn peeps to be cautious when depositing money on B!ngo Br!tain using a credit card. My lovely credit card company has decided to charge me a cash advance fee of £3 for each deposit. I suspected that this may happen as it happened to me on Littlewoods so decided to keep a close eye on the credit card after making my first deposit on BB. Obviously my credit card company classes it as a cash advance rather than payment (it didn't happen to me on Virgin though).
Hopefully will recoup the cash advance fees and interest with some bingo wins. Won £5 yesterday so it was worthwhile depositing the £15 even though charged £3 as I got £2 out of it, or thereabouts if one deducts interest.
Ramble over now.
Hypno, I enjoy reading your diary btw0 -
Hi Hypno,
Hope you have had a good day. This may be of interest?
I signed up for a premier current account with A&L yesterday and have been accepted. It was very straightforward and is mentioned on Martin's banking homepage. £100.00 bonus and £50.00 cashback through Topcashback or £45.00 with Quidco, with O% interest on the overdraft for a year and in credit interest of 0.5%. They transfer all DD's and S/O's over from existing account. Also I get free European travel insurance.
I didn't transfer my main current account, as that is already with Abbey and excluded, but they accepted a secondary account I have with Nationwide. It requires £500.00 going into the account for a short qualifying period.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
Hi Hypno, Bingo question alert. I have played through all the bonus money given and made a first deposit of £20, they have now given £60 in bonus money. Do I have to play the £20, or can I withdraw straight away?

in theory you should be able to withdraw straight away, but on DTs thread they are having conflicting messages from KJP, so I would say be cautious.....head over to DTs thread to see what the current position is. I've got to take DD to sixth form open evening now, so got to dash but will check back in when I get home later this evening.

I'm sure the lurgy will make you immune to anything else coming your way before the holiday.
I'm telling myself this too but I've had two this year after years of immunity.

Sorry Lucielle not sure what is going on I am awaiting reply to email (can take up to 24 hours did it 10am this morning) . I have tried not to contact them in the past because if they look closely at my account they will close it anyway due to abusing free games - so I am probably going to be closed down anyway.
My theory on my problem is I had a £10 bonus on Sunday for referring a friend which I spent and lost on reading the conditions if I had won on it I should have wagered it 3 times but as I didnt win I should have been OK. When I played the free game which won last night I had no real money and no bonus money won £15 deposited £10 and withdrew as normal I think the person who reversed the withdrawal thought I had won with the bonus money so I think it is mistake but I am likely to be closed anyway because of abusing the free games hoping I will get my £10 back but if not I can't complain I have a good run but they may be clamping down so be careful.
