Unlikely - he doesn't ski, (well, not very well anyway!) so isn't bothered about hitting the slopes.

But really, he has more of a social life than I do - he goes to visit friends a couple of times a week, which is fine by me, but it costs a few ££ in petrol in the bike/car to do this. I don't like those particular friends, so it is not a case of taking turns for them to come to us, thereby reducing the petrol cost.

As a result, he doesn't get to have a break away, because he has already had the benefit of the money in dribs and drabs.

Not sure if that makes sense, and to some it will sound bizarre, but it works for us!

It makes perfect sense to me hypno...sounds similar to my sister and her husband. She buys new clothes in cheaper shops like peacocks on a regular basis (she works in retail so likes to be on trend) whereas he tends to go shopping a couple of times a year but buys better quality like next. They both spend about the same, just in ways that suit them.

Afraid I do have another little bingo question tho...have deposited my £5 and in the bingo section it just says about buying pre pay cards for 10p a game...I presume I just do this and spend a fivers worth each day? I know it is obvious and its the only thing on my screen but just being ultra cautious as its all very new to me! Thank you!!!

Yes you can either pre buy games, for later that day, then just come back and see if you have won, or you can "play as you go" and just buy the tickets as and when you want.

I pre buy,then I know my money is all allocated before I have to withdraw any (hopefully!) winnings!

I went there once for christmas, many years ago now, and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I know it will be good........am very much looking forward to it (in case you hadn't noticed) :rotfl:

Morning all - I've woken with DD's cough........barking like a good'un :rolleyes: Ah well, we shall see how it develops -at the moment I feel fine in myself, so I will just go and annoy everyone at work with it
