I am hoping to move away next year though.
Moved away about 9 years ago. Came here to northampton with a guy and when we split decided to stay. Still think of Bedford as home though! It all went downhill when milton keynes got really popular.

Me too, despite Noah alarm calling me twice. As a result right after breakfast Noah widdled on my coat as I hadn't cleaned the litter tray: proof of Lula's karmic law? To redress the balance I ordered him a Dragonfly:

Hi all, well worked again today, ten till three. so not too long really.
Had a phone call with bad news that an old work colleague of mine passed away this am. He had been ill for a year now (cancer) and ive been to see him several times over the year, last time about two weeks ago. But i was going to see him after work today ! so feel like why didnt i go yesterday after work!! But after a long chat with my mum i know i should just think that at least he is not in pain anymore and that i saw him when he was last able to properly have a conversation.
makes you think though.. I am even more determined now to get out of this debt im in and stop having to work all hours just to keep afloat.

Thanks Suouk08, i just hope he is in a better place now but cant even begin to imagine how his wife and son are feeling.
This is when being single really does suck as it makes u think too much about these kind of things.
Think i am going to go and have a hot bath with some bubbles to try and cheer myself up a little.
Thanks for virtual hug :-)DEBT FREE - MARCH 2012 - NOW JUST THE MORTGAGE!

I was worried that my appetite would come back with a vengeance and I would put weight on, so I suppose I should be grateful for that:D
Sorry to hear about your friend yargo, your mum is absolutely right and it might have been very distressing for you to see him the day before when he was so poorly. Much better that you were able to see him when you did. Yargo - I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. It is always hard when someone goes and I think your mum is right. I hope your bubble bath makes you feel better.
Firefox - I know, I love the library. I'm not sure when the scheme finishes though?! I think it might end on 31st Oct. If not, maybe I should post somewhere!I've got my own flat :j:j

How did you get on with your clearout sarah? !
Hmm, not brilliantly:o Have done lots of washing up, one load of washing is on now, I have stripped the bed and filled half a bin bag with rubbish. Must do better:o I have the week off so I am hoping to make huge inroads into the disaster area that is my room.
Havebeen having a look at my toiletries stash which I amassed last year due to my Boots addiction which was fuelled by the thread on "grabbit." I counted everything up at the beginning of the year and I think I had about 250 unopened items:eek:
It is a bit tidier now as I have obviously used things throughout the year but there is no way I am ever going to get through them all and to be honest a lot of them I got because they were bargains and not because they were useful:o I must have over 100 items of make up and I don't really wear much anyway. So I think I may as well throw most of them out. They are cluttering up my room, I don't need them and some of them may go off before I get round to using them. I know it's a waste but I don't think I will ever use them and they are in the way. Am I being sensible here?
