I know Shoe Gal, I will do. It's just at the moment, I find it more stressful not getting things done than just getting on and doing them IYSWIM? I must be a bit obsessed with sorting out my finances and my house. I always think that if Mum is well I have to get on and get things sorted while I can, which does also stress me out, but otherwise things will just get worse and that can't happen.

Morning all, got up at nine today with the sun streaming through the windows it felt nice and sunny. Let the cats in they ate the 99p dried cat food i got from tesco yesterday.
I bought the tesco milk and white chocolate 27p each, a loaf of hovis granary £1, two boxes of cat food (discount brand) 99p each total of £3.52 and used my £2.50 voucher so £1.10.
they are not keen on it and nibble but thats all they are getting! cats are so fussy!
May take the bike out later to get the wind in my hair seeing as I can't do that with the car and enjoy it, but I keep thinking about moving away from here because I feel that my family don't care, my so called friends who live minutes away do not visit, and keep thinking about moving to wales or nearer to my daughter in chester.
My family (mum) never rings me even though I ring to find out how my dad is, but in all the years I have been here, nobody thinks about coming to see me for a change and keep thinking I might as well be away from them completely.
I sometimes feel like an old lady who lives alone and nobody cares about me. I remember I used to do shopping for the old people who lived on my street when I was little and the really appreciated it.
Even when I have been ill and unable to get out its been hard to rely on someone.
Maybe its just dreaming but I need to do something new.;)Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
A plan for the future is a good but don't do anything too drastic. It sounds like you are lonely - but you could be lonely in a new place too. I know it sounds a bit cliched but how about making new friends locally? I know money is tight but maybe a new gym class, or inviting colleagues over for drinks and nibbles?

I have tried the invitiations over, but they are not interested and I know its because I live alone they think I am sad. I spend every weekend in with the cats, my gym membership is over in june and I will cancel it as I have not been in weeks cause I don't have the motivation to go. And I have been going for a few years to different ones and I see people but they don't think of the people who live alone. I guess I am one of those people who are not interesting enough to know. I am chatty. Its weird.
I used to go to night classes learning to paint years ago, but I remember then that I spent weekends alone and the odd friday night out.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
Don't want to sound patronising but I live alone too (and spend a lot of weekends at home alone too) but I don't think that means that I am somebody that people don't want to know! And if you saw me in the gym would you be able to tell that I live alone?
Sounds like you are feeling low, but please don't start thinking there is something wrong with you  You sound like a lovely person, a great Mum and a great daughter to your Dad - and I am sure you are :j
Here's a challenge - you up for it? I am feeling really lazy (as usual
) but I am dragging myself off this sofa and going to the gym - will you????? Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -

Sorry I did not mean to upset you, it just feels like that sometimes, I guess I just need a hug. Yes I have been feeling low for a while, I know there is nothing wrong with me. I have to go to the doctors on tuesday and get something for my gums. I know I am a nice person, just lately two people have let me down fixing my gate and I have asked for help but nobody wants to.
I am ok today just chilling, but I am getting out on the bike soon down the canal. You can see it on here:- its a good run out.

i go down hinds lane which joins onto bury bolton canal and all the way to radcliffe. Its nice and sunny.
I feel thats better exercise than the gym. I will go there tomorrow to the gym and walk it there its only ten-fifteen mins walk, just feel like I cant look at people, keep feeling ugly and unattractive.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
I'm not upset silly - just worried for you  Hate to hear people being hard on themselves - I am prone to doing myself and all the lovely people on here shout at me (in a very caring way :A)
Bike ride sounds lovely - it will make you feel much better. Am in my gym stuff so I'm off now, going to treat myself to a sunbed on the way back

I went for a bike ride, dont use sunbed though, Im fair skinned and will get cancer. I used to go on them when I was 18 -20 years old once or twice a week. Lots of people at my workplace use them.
I have emailed the manchester canal people if I can volunteer to help clear litter and help restore the canal which is five mins from me. if i can do it on sundays when I am free that will help me get out and meet more people.
They have cleared a large section of the path and feel that they areslowly making changes here.
Been listening to magic fm all afternoon from my tv for good music and have been entering their comps.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230
