No sorry I meant why but T has already explained. Just hoped she was okay.
Off today and have gutted the flat, made hummus, done a meal plan, stripped the bed, done 2 loads of washing and did my snowball. It's not too bad and paying off the cards this year is realistic, if a bit tight! Off for a cheap chinese with a mate tonight and then hopefully seeing an FWB tomorrow. Yippee!!!!'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Hi all well I sent the council some photos of fly tipping on the railway cycle path and moss on the cobbles at the end of the street which looks a mess and a street sign that has been vandalised.:o
here is my email and their reply on the top. I think to myself what a load of excuses not to carry out the repairs! They helped create the cycle path as their is a stone saying they helped build it! and they have not been down to look at it at all.
Thank you for your e-mail
After further investigation I can advise that The moss on the setts is not part of the adopted highway, and the fly tipping is not on our land either, we think the embankment belongs to bridges and therefore would be there responsibility and not Bury MBC.
The broken sign plate will be removed but unfortunately not replaced at present.

I have attached three photos above. There has been flytipping on hinds lane and the photo shows flytipping on the end of the cycle path hill behind the wellington street railway bridge. Also the cobbles opposite Milliken are covered in dead moss and it needs removing and the whole of railway terrace back entrance swept up as there is lots of loose gravel and salt and broken concrete.
Also the sign I attach on the photo was supposed to be replaced and repaired as from my last contact with Neville keyworth before xmas. Also the railway terrace signs on the bridge and on the end of the first house on the street are faded and need repainting or cleaned up or repaired.
Can we also have somebody to remove all the dead Japanese knotweed on the embankment opposite the houses as the bushes are becoming far too overgrown and heavy against the fence and all the litter removed on the actual embankment.

The thing was I tried it when I was away for the weekend with friends. They saw me putting it on and the light wasn't too good in the bedroom, so I couldn't see what it looked like very easily. I went into the bathroom to have a better look, but on the way there one of my friends looked at me in horror and sort of said 'Erm, I'm not sure about that...maybe you should just wipe it off and borrow my Clinique...' That's what I did, but I tried to palm it off on them and they weren't having any of it, so I'm still stuck with the stuff (although I haven't used it again)
I am very pale too - try mixing it with moisturiser to make it less intense
