Sarah - i'm not particularly technical but I manage fine. You can get your pics from the camera onto your pc by either connecting your camera to PC with a cable or by using a card reader (small thing which attaches into USB port and has slot for memory card to go in). Most computers recognise that the camera has been joined to computer and it will pop up to save pics so very easy to do.

To put pics on ebay is easy. First pic is free. If you want to add in more, you can use a way of putting them in for free which is a bit harder but not that tricky.

If you read all the info on here about ebay before you start it makes sense.

Thanks make up, that's really helpful:A It sounds like something I could actually do:j. I will go to Boots this weekend and invest in a camera, using my points like a good frugalista:D

That would pay off over a third of your Next card in one go:j. Why don't you get that card cleared and then treat yourself.:) Also, if you are planning on losing 31lbs the dress won't fit in a few months and you will regret it. I am not buying any new clothes until I get to my target as it will be a waste.

Sarahb, you are doing brilliantly, but I have to ask...apart from the intense frugality, do you have any other symptoms?? What if it's contagious?!?
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

  • Hiya, had a relaxing evening with my daughter. went to bed at 10pm. still tired though. Joined plenty of fish and already had messages, one guy owns motorbike shop so nice chatting to him but hes shaven headed which I don't really fancy them guys but hes nice to talk to so will keep chatting.

May visit my dad this afternoon or in evening to see how he is.
One day me and my girl will go to free swimming at leisure center. I take her back sunday.

Good for you Tracey. I use it and I've found it fine. Obviously loads of oddballs and loads of guys I didn't fancy but have had quite a few dates and fun out of it so can't knock it. Don't know what it would be like if you were looking for a relationship as opposed to just casual fun but give it a go. Enjoy your time with your daughter X

  • Well its a relaxing day today, made a flan with puff pastry and just made shortbread, sick of watching kids tv on cbbc but my daughter likes it. My gate may be fixed tomorrow, the guy rang today but I had no money so I told him I would nip out in car tomorrow to get some and he may be able to fix it in the afternoon. May see my dad in hospital on saturday as we just want to relax today. Cats love it that I am at home. Just had a message from a guy on pof but hes asian and I specifically put on my profile that I am looking for caucasian men. I replied to the ones that I was not suited to out of courtesy.

Wish me luck I need some laughter in my life right now.

Why oh why oh why did I take so much stuff to the charity shop?:mad::mad: I could have sold some of it:(.*sobs* I must not think about it and concentrate on what I have left.:( Luckily all the stuff I have given away wasn't really worth much so it's not a disaster.

Am mostly annoyed about all the books I have given away as I spent last night reading up on here about car boot sales and would like to do one for all the stuff it wouldn't be worth ebaying, even if they went for 20-50p each it would be something. Luckily I remembered I have many many more in storage so I will be able to get something for them. And I threw out a load of toiletries a few weeks ago as well:mad: Grrrrrr! From now on nothing leaves this room unless it is rubbish or being sold or both. :D

So somewhere along the line in the next few weeks I need to make a pile of everything I can ebay and everything I can car boot. My new phone arrived today, it is a rubbish one selling for around £40 brand new on ebay, I could have made a lot more if I had gone for the £15 tariff as I would have been given a much better phone but it's probably better this way as my sole aim was to reduce my monthly bill.

I have posted off my used phones today so all that is left now is the music magpie stuff, I know they are pretty slow but I ordered the pack on Sunday:( I need to get it here this week so I can get everything done and out of the way.

    So sensible sarah :A

Where's Lula when you need her :D

Sorry sweetie, please dont hate me :( but I can think of 2 more reasons why you arent allowed the dress :

1 - it's not just £140 - it's a 'dry clean only' item so you have to add that in to the cost

    & more importantly

    2 - I'm not allowed the boots :p

*plans to set up secret shopping thread with Shoe Gal using aliases * :shhh:

I'm all for having fun & treating ourselves to gorgeous outfits usually, BUT sarah said that if I buy anything non frugal then I will be banished to the clothes challenge for eternity :cry::eek:

I intend this to be my last year on it as I want to clear the debts ASAP & then I can resume regular shopping (within a budget of course ;)) so call me this time next year & I am happy to come & spend the day with [STRIKE]Faith[/STRIKE] you :D
