Single and in Debt Part 3- The problem of surplus and excess women

Glad to see everyone has better things to do rather than haunt MSE

While hanging washing out I became distracted by piles of leaves & twigs so spent a good hour raking them all up & have now filled 2 huge garden bags ... no point cleaning the car until they've gone to the dump
Just finishing coffee number 2 while DD allows me my half hour on the pc before banishing me back to the bucket & stardrops chores
Feel so much more cheerful having been out in the garden, there are snowdrops & bulby type things appearing :j
I'm being glared at so must get on, back later ...0 -
I think i will tackle my front garden tomorrow as its now time to get rid of the dead wood on the plants and tidy up.
Actually went into bury for walk around today with my daughter - after the full day of yesterday of her sulking then falling asleep in my bed at 5pm. At six I woke her for tea and she kept quiet most of the evening.
So felt a little emotional this morning and got a hug from her.
I guess I am feeling the winter blues. Anyhow got £20 out of the machine yesterday and another tenner today for bits and pieces, such as bin bags, we had a pasty as a treat in bury. Bought some biscuits too and pop for her. I could really do with winning a dvd series of something such as life on mars etc or x files to keep me indoors.
Looking forward to having coffee with a man tomorrow, hope hes nice as he is on the net. hes 42 and a decorator with two grown up girls and is a granddad too. He keeps active doing swimming, shooting, and likes to have companionship and has a cat too like me. And he lives in same town too. Hes 5ft 8 and keeps fit. and likes a drop of wine or beer too.

Hello

Long time no see
I've had no laptop for 3wks now and am running for Student President so my entire life is campaigning. I will be back on here after 1st March when the results are announced. The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Afternoon folks, hope evryones ok, and having a productive day? Haven't posted in a while, but I've been lurking and checking up! Fab news on all the weight loss and moneysaving, can't believe how well everyones doing!
Been off work for a few weeks, as was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder-started having panic attacks, couldn't sleep at all, was up at 2 o clock every morning til about 5, dizzy spells, gone down 2 dress sizes in the space of 6 weeks-not very good. Even gone off shopping! But I've tried to be good while I've been off- I have rearranged my mortgage to include my debt, leaving me enough spare cash each month to drop 10 hours a week from work. I have a new job-start in about 3 weeks. Scary! I've been where I am for 5 years now! My house has been gutted and organised, and I should have enough money to get my bathroom finished finally in the next couple of months-I haven't had a sink in a year!
Unfortunately, I haven't had the motivation to ebay while I've been off, got a garage full of stuff to sell-good job I haven't got a car! To be honest I have found it hard even getting out of bed the last few weeks, just want to lie there- not good, I know, need to get my !!! into gear.
No luck on the man front yet. Have been texting a man from POF but don't think it will go anywhere. I'm still hooked up on my ex at the minute, and I need to get him out of my head. I'm fed up of thinking bout him, but don't know how to stop. So lonely at the minute- all of my friends just about are married or living with their blokes, find it quite hard to see.. Don't really get chance to go meet many men either, as obviously most of my free time is spent with DD. Sorry to ramble on at you all...can't really speak to family/friends about all of this as they don't like the ex, and just want rid. They're stuck with him anyway, he's the father of my child!
Like I say, sorry to bore you all with this- just having a bad day today and needed to write it all down I think, kind of therapy!
Someone tell me bout pretty shoes or things they've bought, let me live life through you!0 -
Hi clarabella sorry to hear of your anxiety attacks they are awful aren't they. I suffered from them twice, once when I was beaten up by some neighbours when Iasked them to turn the music down and another time when I was ironing in the front room and someone smashed my front fence. Took me a few weeks to recover andfeel positive again.
I found if I carried on with life as normal that helped me recover . Two dress sizes flippin eck. Its your body trying to cope, I always lose weight when I am ill or stressed.
Just popped a banana loaf in the oven to bake. feeling a bit better but wish there were more films on tv on saturday afternoon , freeview is all I have and not much on.
I am taking my daughter back home early tomorrow so I can visit my dad at hospital as she does not want to see him. Isnt it funny how teenagers always want their own way.
Anyhow trying to keep busy.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
Sorry to hear about your troubles Clarabella. Getting over the ex will just take time lovey.
Am far too [STRIKE]tight[/STRIKE] frugal to buy anything exciting. Spent far too much over the last few days and now only have £9 left til Thursday!!! Only need a bit of bread really and a wee treat for tonight so should be okay. Meant to meet a mate tomorrow for a drink but it will have to be a cheap one!'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
