I had a letter this morning from the AA saying they will be renewing my breakdown cover next month for just £160:eek:. Oh no they won't. I went onto quidco and got the same level of cover from Green Flag for £100 with £30 cashback:j
My new phone is coming tomorrow and it should have a new SIM in it which I can use to check there is no personal information left on my old phones, one in particular may have some texts that would cause me to die of embarrassment if they were ever seen by anyone else.
I need to be absolutely certain they are gone before I post the phones off.:o
I have the welcome packs for both phones so hopefully I can get them sent off tomorrow and start getting some money for them, I just need the music magpie stuff to come so I can get that sorted and I need to register with another recycling company to sell the new phone I am getting. Then all my selling will be done for the month :j
Sarahb, I think you're doing so well. Good for you for making some extra money with the phones, CDs etc. It all adds up :AThough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -

:DHello fabby ones,
Yargo, sorry only just logged on - finished home-job now until monday :j.
As to Stardrops, I wet the stain first, then put a tiny drop of stardrops on & rub it in a bit then wash immediately with normal washing powder.
DD's school blouses are white so any fading wouldnt actually show, just be careful if you're using coloured fabric.
NSD number 12 here
& what with half price holiday camp & home-job earnings ... I have enough cash to buy those boots :rotfl:
Calm down sarah, I wont ... I still havent worn the gorgeous shoes I bought as it's been too cold so will focus on those for now.
I'm so impressed at your born-again frugality :A I feel it is my duty to accompany you _pale_.
There is just so much I could be doing with my life if I didnt have the debt repayments; £400 a month is a fair amount to play with

You should! It's on my very long 'to do' list aswell. Loads of people do it, how hard can it be?? Maybe I'm being overly optimistic, but I hate throwing stuff out when I'm in debt.
I'm currently learning Amazon and that seems simple enough, although I haven't sold anything yet.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
Then came home again in the rain, struggled out to Pilates in the rain and then found I had a flat tyre so walked home in the rain......
QUOTE]
Sorry makeup , only just re read some posts and realised about your flat tyre!! what a pain! have you got it sorted? x
Thanks Yargo. Nope not yet. I find changing a flat to be a real hassle so saving for the weekend. I can walk to work so not a horrendous problem, just adds 15 - 20 mins onto my journey which is fine.
Plus my parents are coming up on Saturday, we're going to view a new development of flats which have been built about 2 mins walk from me. I'd REALLY love to get one but I don't know how likely it is that I'll get one. I had a disappointing time with a property last year and that is still playing on my mind
Anyway I'm hoping my Dad can give me a hand with my bike and it will also give me a chance to watch some online tutorials cos I can't believe it is that hard to change a tyre and can't understand why I struggle so much with it
Sarah - well done on the sales - I've now got two old phones that I will try and flog. Although have put it off for ages so they're probably not worth much at all!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction

Just think how much you will enjoy your fabulous boots when they are bought out of your "play" money. I'm sure Faith won't run out of boots in the meantime
Am almost impressing myself as well, all this willpower has come as a bit of a surprise:D. I just hope I can keep it up.:) Am pleased that I made the effort to sort out the bedding, previously I would have thrown it in the bin and bought some more, this way I have a brand new look to my room and it only cost me £6.99 for a new sheet, plus a bottle of Vanish and a few squirts of Stardrops:jPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

That's what I think too, it surely can't be that difficult if so many people do it. I am just no good with cameras and loading pictures etc. But I may have to learn as I need to get some of this stuff sold before it goes out of date:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Sarah B you are doing fabby but get on ebay. It's DEAD easy. I've made £36 this year already from 3 sales (clothes) and once you've been on and registered and done it once it's a piece of cake.
Watching Heather Mills and Dr Pamela on Shrinkwrap. I think she's a mental!
