Well done Lula on the weekly email.

Spent most of the afternoon at work in meetings, so I haven't done a great deal at work, what a shame.

makeup makes me feel like a right lazy lump, it's too cold to go out for anything, I've been hibernating the electric blanket is the best thing I own at the moment.

We don't have a lot of snow were I live but we have ice everywhere, the roads are like ice rinks, I'm getting peed off with it now.
  • Forgot to say 'hello Jim' in my last post - sorry!!

Do you have a link to misslauren's 101 list Shoe Gal?

In from street dance, am absolutely wiped now....think I'll feel it tomorrow! have done my hoovering and going to go and attempt to make a healthy dinner, although I have some quorn kievs that are calling to me from the freezer :rotfl:

    .

I don't often feel motivated but when it strikes I always go with it!

For me, it is because I've booked classes. If I'd just decided I'd go swimming or go for a gym session it would never work, I'd just hit snooze and go back to bed!

However if it is booked I definitely make it! They fine you if you book a class and don't show up!!!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Sarah - you must make stand against the neurotic midget. Cant you squish him or hoover him up or something :D I want to see you making changes, please. Life is too short to be unhappy.

Hmm. Have had a note pushed under my door noting my housework shortcomings and how I might like to improve. Every other word is f***.:mad::mad::mad: He is too cowardly to talk to me in person and would never dare use that language to my face. I must stress this is over tea towels/an occasional unwashed cup etc.

Apart from anything else it is the bonkers self righteous nature of it ie I am perfectly entitled to use this language because I am right and you have made me lose control of my temper.:mad::mad::mad:

Am at a loss as to what to do here, do not want to speak to him, do not want any contact with him at all, it is quite easy to avoid him. Part of me wants to stay here just to pi$$ him off. I just can't bear the thought that he thinks he is in the right and that this is acceptable behaviour and that I am sat here thinking, oh, I must improve myself. That is totally out of order..... if he has an issue with something he can raise it with you but to use foul and offensive language is completely wrong.

Plus from what you've said it seems like he has a serious problem with shared housing?

A cup for goodness sake! He should come and live in our flat....he'd probably have a heart attack. My flatmate left a huge pile of washing up for quite a few days as he was 'doing his dissertation'.......

Anyway back to your problems. I had a flatmate come and knock on my door at about 11.30pm one night to complain about my washing up. I didn't do anything at the time but the next day I told him it was far too late for him to knock on my door and that if he had something to raise with me he should do it at a reasonable hour.

I think the first thing to address is that he put a note through your door with foul language on it. I would point out to him that the 'offence' is not worth such abusive language and he should not be so agressive or abusive towards you. In fact nothing is worthy of writing foul language to you or anyone.

Also do you have other flatmates? Is this horror a new addition to the flat??

Can you speak to your other flatmates? Have they had similar notes under their doors? Can you get together and approach him as a group?

Would be a shame to move out just to get away from him but equally not worth staying somewhere that you are unhappy with...

What has annoyed me the most is the agression and the fact he would not dare do such a thing to the male flatmates. He is such a coward:mad:

I will speak to the others and see what they think. I really don't care if he has a problem with me, what concerns me is that he is probably strutting around thinking I have been well and truly told. Grrrrrrrrrrr:mad:

I don't want to move out as he will see that as winning. Pathetic I know but I cannot bear the thought of him thinking he has got his own way.
