How about hiking boots and gaitors rather than wellies. More practical, less chance of a sprained ankle and you're more likely to wear them again too. Even argos sell 'em.

Sarah my DD wore her wellies to school today but slipped as soon as she got out the door coz it's all turned to ice. I don't think any shoes are good in this weather and as I don't think you'll have to wear the wellies much I think you should go for the cheap option. You can buy the pretty £45 ones next year. I wore my walking boots today (that makes me sound like I go walking :D) and I still slipped all over the place. I had hold of my friends buggy to keep me up.

:eek::eek: I thought wellies were going to be the answer to my prayers:eek:. Looks like I am trapped in the house:eek:

I think you are right, I might be best to stick it out and then get a cheap pair when I can and put them in the cupboard for emergencies. Might be better off with some skis:D

Buy yourself a set of crampons... you'll look like a pro ;P

I'm back in Falmouth after going to visit my Dad in Dorset for a couple of days, was a nice break but I really didn't do enough revision.
My student loan has come in early tho which is nice, I'm planning a couple of shopping trips to stock up on cheap Asda food and go get a pair of trainers, slowcooker etc so that my new healthy lifestyle can kick off in style after my exams.
Brought my brothers bicycle back on the train as it's a very nice one with 21 gears and road tyres... unfortunately it's also pink and silver! At least being my size no-one dare take the !!!! for fear of getting thumped!
My FWB is back on Sunday and I still haven't got her a Xmas present... I know exactly what I want to get her but haven't found a good one yet. A hot chocolate set, like a mug, expensive hot choc and some chocolate. Might just buy it all seperately lol.
The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

I'm sorry for the demon I've become but you should be sorry for the angel you are not.

    Hi All,

Sort of a snow day for me, finished at 1.30 instead of 6 as weather was turning nasty so office got closed.

Hoping for lots overnight and a full day at home tomorrow ;)

I want a FWB! Prob TMI but six months of being single is starting to disagree with me! :p

    TMI is too much information.
