    Hello fabulous ones,

I've just spent half an hour updating the clothes challenge  at this rate, there'll be no time for shopping of any kind :rotfl:

Sarah, I am very envious of your bargainous beans, I had to pay £2.50 for mine. To be fair I have tried all varieties including Tatco value ones _pale_ so I do feel qualified to say that I can only really stomach the Branston ones & even at 62.5p per tin it's still pretty cheap as meals go.

I did my 'weekly' shop today & rather than the £25 I'd hoped to spend, it actually came in £20 over :o but this did include buying a months supply of loo rolls, 2 months worth of washing powder (on offer at £4.79 rather than £7.15) , & double quantities of tea bags, frubes for DDs lunches & clover due to special offers when buying 2 of each product thereby saving £2.48 :).

I did baulk at buying black peppercorns for £3.49  but will have to get some next week, I can eat a lot more plain/cheap food if it is well seasoned.

I also received some free wine glasses this afternoon so am ready for the weekend ;)

Totally with you gwen, I don't want to go in tomorrow  Know I will be really busy, but jsut can't get my head round it at the moment

I have no proper diet plan  Just trying to eat less and do some exercise. I have joined the DFW weight loss thread on here, maybe a bit of communal support/nagging will help.
Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!

Me too, dreading it, have so much sorting out to do at home still - have no idea what I've been doing for the last 10 days

I suggest we strike on the grounds that we are too fabulous to freeze :D

That's exactly how I feel aswell Shoe Gal, it's going to be really busy. I want to ease myself back in, but there will be no time for that.

That's my philosophy at the moment. I'm not sure when the exercise part of it will come in though as it's waaay too cold and icey to go out for a run. I've just tottered round to the corner shop and nearly fell over  I don't belong to a gym and if I'm honest, I want to spend my time sorting out my finances and house, not exercising. That's really bad, isn't it? :o I need something that I don't mind doing and will fit in easily.

I was thinking of joining that thread too, but felt that in order to do so I probably need to weigh myself which I'm not sure I'm ready for. I don't mind weighing myself if I have a plan...a diet to follow and some exercise planned in, but if I don't, I'm not sure I want to know at the moment. If that makes sense?

Me too, I'd love another week off. I do have quite a bit of holiday left, but just feel like it'd be a waste if I use it now. I've had a good break, possibly too good , so I think I'd better save it until there's work to be done on the house or I've got severe work fatigue.

God, tell me about it. My house is a tip. I'm going to do a few chores tonight to make things look a bit better. I've heard that there's more snow to come, I'm not so secretly hoping I might end up snowed in..

Major Sunday night blues here, also dreading work as have awful feeling the person we really need some work from will be stuck at other end of country due to snow. However, not much I can do but go in.

Have decided that I will book a long weekend every month though, as I will actually get to use my holiday this year. Not sure where I'll go, but even a day reading in coffee shops in town will do me good.

Not really doing a 100 list, have decided I have quite enough on my plate so only resolutions are to eat and sleep properly!

Hello again! Just about to read through and catch up.

Another one with the Sunday night blues here...dreading going back to work tomorrow, but keeping myself going with the thought that I'll be applying for a new job this week. Don't think it's helped that I had a lovely 3 days in Liverpool. But I've made lunch and prepared everything for my dinner in the slow cooker to switch on before I go to work. My clothes are chosen and laid out....bring it on! Lol :D

Wow, you're so organised. I've made a sandwich for tomorrow, but I'm anticipating the purchase of something warm as I expect to be frozen in the office.

Good luck with the job application! Good start to the new year. I should start looking for something else really, after my brief exploration of other things last year.
