Back again
Well done on the bargainous beans sarah, not fan of them really but can manage the Branston ones - typically they are the most expensive  I am also not going anywhere near 9p noodles, mainly because I intend to have a Tatco-free year - other than for petrol & free air. There is a Sainsburys near where I work so might sign up for a nectar card, dont know much about them so can anyone enlighten me as to the benefits
Well done on starting revision TDQ - am very impressed :A agree with the 100 too many to start with, but I think the idea is to add to it throughout the year or when a brilliant idea hits you
Hope those with hangovers are feeling better now
My home now tidied, hoovered & semi decluttered, living room looks very minimalist :j, sadly the bedroom is still full of shoes boxes & unwanted clothes in piles.
I have far too many books so am going to have a look at Green Metropolis thanks Inky0 -

It was Branstons, not tried them before but was a bargain at 89p reduced from £2.39, I foresee many night of beans on toast ahead. There is a Sainsburys near where I work so might sign up for a nectar card, dont know much about them so can anyone enlighten me as to the benefits
I have a nectar card, I have about £50 on mine, mainly from an offer on quidco for £40 to take out an American Express card and £25 worth of nectar points as well. They have a website that works like quidco except you get points instead of money, it doesn't pay very well but it's the only cashback site I have seen with amazon on it, so it's quite handy for that, plus you get coupons through the post eg £3 off £30 spend, spend £3 on fruit and get 100 points etc. I would say it is worth getting one as every little helps and it is handy for amazon.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

It's a list of 100 things you want to do this year, lose a stone, read a certain book etc. As TDQO says it can be quite unrealistic but it depends on what you put down and even if you only do half that's 50 resolutions you have kept, you don't have to do all 100 athough that is the general idea.
I usually start off with about 50-60 as I can't even think of 100 but you can add to it throughout the year. I think I got about 40 done last year, it's just a fun thing to do and trying to think of 100 really does make you think about what you want to do.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
I've done one too. Some of the stuff is boring like clean the carpet and some of it is a bit more exciting!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

With my 100 list last year I managed to do most of the 'one off' things, like visit a certain exhibition, tidy up different bits & pieces, that kind of thing. The stuff I found harder was the ongoing things, like getting to work before 8am once a week and that kind of thing
I've had a good day today hitting the galleries with my parents.
Am now chilling watching 'So you think you can dance' - it is so sad, there was this brilliant Brazillian dancer but his work visa couldn't be switched so they couldn't use him  it was a real shame as he was fabulous and seemed like a really nice person too....I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
Sound worth a go! I've got all sorts of things that keep popping into my head - big and little (the things, not my head, that's just big! ;-) )
Have you read that Mike Gayle book called The To-Do-List. Very relevant, and inspiring too. He had hundreds of things to do and it became an obsession!Sealed Pot Virtual Sealed Pot £365 in 365 days

I deliberately didn't put any ongoing things in as I knew they would be to difficult to keep track of, I prefer one off things I can tick off when they are done.
Sounds like a good day hitting the galleries, just the sort of thing I love doing and definitely on my list:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
I was watching the dance programme too - he was truly fabulous
I'm not having any chore type things on my list, nothing repetitive other than debt repayment . Havent done a comprehensive list yet, but have quite a few on my 'rough' copy.
I'm definitely taking makeup's idea of the culture category seriously. I intend to use my friday's very wisely ( while I still have them) & not just for catching up with chores or shopping.
