Shoegal- I have those pink shoes! They're not too painful, thank god.
Hope everyone enjoyed last night and the hangovers are worth it? I sang the new year in on the singstar while merrily tipsy!
Buffy- get some KFC down ya that will sort out the hangover! Best cure there is!0 -

Same here with the NSD Clarabella. It helps that I haven't got dressed. I'm gonna have to get dressed soon though as I'm going to vivist my Mam as she's travelled down here for my cousins wedding tomorrow.
All hangovers are the pits, and I suffer really bad. Blue Wkd is the only thing that doesn't make me suffer (never has yet anyways) I agree with clarabella...KFC all the way!Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80

Welcome back MoneyFritter & a big :grouphug: for being dumped by text, that's just so rude & cowardly  .
Never mind, we'll look after you, hope you like shoes
.
sarah, you cannot be having spend withdrawal symptoms already, it's been less than 24 hours
I'm now concerned about the fabby new lingerie that is on its way to me ... what if I'm the only one who ever sees it
On the other hand as I've already been to the shops to buy necessary anti-hangover essentials ( bacon, eggs & mushrooms) I thought I would pre use the cheque I received to buy myself another bead for my bracelet :shhh:.
Naturally I got it through Quidco so of course this is justified & should net about £3 cashback. I chose to have it delivered to a store instead so saved £3 there & will return the faith boots at the same time so multi-using the parking cost
. Must learn to shop quicker so parking costs less.
The 99p dress I bought from ebay has also earned me 14p - dont laugh, every penny counts.
Planning to have a NSD tomorrow - & pay in that cheque :rolleyes:0 -

I am not having withdrawal symptoms quite yet:D. Another few days should do it though:rolleyes: I think I am going to need a lot of help with this:oI'm now concerned about the fabby new lingerie that is on its way to me ... what if I'm the only one who ever sees it
I am quite concerned about mine too, it is expensive stuff.:D And it doesn't fit. You will just have to make it one of your 100 things to do this year.

Evening ladies.
I haven't brought sexy undies for over six years now, thing is my bum seems to be bigger in undies than my jean size! I don't like little pants though and thongs are hell for me but I feel I should be buying some nice undies too this year. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
I think I am going to need a lot of help with this

Me too
I seem to have spent the last few weeks just manically spending money; on food, gifts, trips, treats & even buying the insurance & breakdown yesterday was a 'thrill'
I must find a way to get that same level of excitement from paying off the CCs. Having transferred to a higher interest rate should help though as I need to get the original £2,500 cleared asap.
At least this year I dont have to save up for a holiday abroad as per the last 2 years, although the cost of school & Brownie trips is probably an equal amount .
I am happy to discourage you from unnecessary spends if you can return the favour :rotfl:0 -

I am happy to return the favour:D. I really do think I will need to be talked out of things this year and I would be grateful for some harsh words. "I deserve a treat" is not going to cut it this year. I must do this.
On the frugal front I had the last of the Christmas frozen food today for dinner, roast potatoes, stuffing and sausages, also had 2 pieces of toast, a banana, a tangerine, copious teas and coffees, fruit juice and an ice lolly.
I think I have at least 2 weeks worth of food to be going on with, will need petrol over the weekend plus my lottery ticket, so no huge spends coming up. If I can avoid the shops, remember it's only a bargain if I will actually use it and only go food shopping with a list it will be a lot easier.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Well done on the frugal dinner, I'm ashamed to admit that today I had to 'compost' 2 bananas & 3 clementines but have valiantly just finished off the last of the cheese & crackers.
You have a new mini target to achieve :T, good plan & I shall shamelessly copy it. My weighing day will be fridays & I will have my first one next week.
The food shopping really does affect my frugality & I really dont 'do' scratch cooking & meal planning more than about once a month. We seem to be forever running out of things like tea bags, sugar, yoghurts & cereal. I think that cereal is huge waste of money actually & plan to stop buying so called healthy ones, fibre ones, weight loss inducing ones ( lies) & ones that fill you up ( more lies) & just buy weetabix from now on.0
