Morning, fab ones. Hope you had a lovely night. I had a great time in the gays Penthouse. They booked a room in a posh boutique hotel and got an upgrade so it was totally FABULOUS. Even though we stayed in we all got dressed up and they took amazing pictures of me rolling around on their massive bed looking all sparkly and glam. What fun! Sat in my dressing gown now enjoying a cuppa and some chocolate. LOVED all the spending chat last night. Sarah, I saw that.
On the undie note I like coordinating ones. Would love them to match but my boobs are too big for Primark and cant afford Bravissimo so have to go M and S and lots of their matching ones have big knickers and I only wear thongs so what a dilema! Always nice and coordinating though. Shoe Gal I think Dr Dreamy would be a good person to see my underwear on a hospital visit!
Feeling really cheery and positive, usually am to be honest but did have a wee wobble the other night when I saw the boys gorgeous hotel room. I just thought I will never be able to afford anything like this and it made me feel wobbly. Basically retail is not that well paid and as I want to be on my own and theres no one about to pay half of everything then its going to be a bit tight.Realised that the only way to change that is to learn everything I can in this job and then look for a Managers role in 2011. Once I thought about it I was fine.
Off to update my diary and read a few others. Back later and again best wishes for a Happy and Fabulous 2010. XXX'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -

Just spent £60 on candles. Nobody say anything and we will forget this ever happened.
Candles are required to keep your home lovely so that a) you don't need to go out thereby spending more money and b) you can happily invite lovely new man back for further moneysaving on heating and gym bills
(see, I have been listening!) :rotfl:
oooh surfers, yumjust think of all those gorgeous cornish surfer types  might start packing now
:T:rotfl:
need feedback on good hunting grounds please!
Had a lovely chilled time last night, watched QI for most of it after I emerged from the kitchen, then Jules for the midnight moment. Am v v proud of self as I not only cooked dinner for us but also made a rather fab dessert (chocolate truffle cake:j). Am really enjoying having house set up to have people over and intend to do lots more of this entertaining thing - am slowly gaining confidence in the kitchen and it suits my lazy nature much better than having to go out. Plus is cheaper
(well except that it now enables me to justify all my homewares stuff)
Welcome Bibbetybob :hello:
Welcome to 2010 everyone, hope you are enjoying it so far!

Hi all, hope everyone has had a good start to 2010:D. Just been to Tesco and for the first time ever I left with the one and only thing I had gone in there for:j. Was lots of stuff I could have bought, but I decided no more food until the cupboards are bare. Am quite proud of myself:D. There are going to be lots of wierd and wonderful combinations of food until it is all gone:eek:. Total spend today £1.95 on coffee and 27 points on my card.
There is no alcohol in the house! So I am going to have to come up with a plan and quickly:eek:. I don't want to ruin everything by paying full price:eek:Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

Hello all,
sounds like all had fab nights, Rosa - was also watching Jools alongside a teeny bit of last minute spending.
Sarah - well done on such a frugal start to the year - shame about the alcohol drought, have loads here but only drinking at week ends again from now
Didnt wake up until 10, got a fab troll bead for my bracelet from my lil sis - silver dragon which curls around the chain , gorgeous -
Ventured off to Virginia Water for a brisk walk in the sunshine, beautiful day out there but nose & ear achingly cold. Stopped off at co op on the way home to buy ingredients for beasty cooked brunch - spent £7 but all ingredients will last for a couple of days so that's ok.
My new eating plan involves the following principle which I found over on Old Style : Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince & supper like a pauper.
Apparently protein is much better at filling you up than carbs & if you have a good breakfast should keep you going all day with only drinks & fruit for nibbles.
Both DD & I are famished by the time she comes home from school at 3.30 so we're going to try having a big brekkie each morning & another hot meal about 4pm.
Will give it a month to see how it works out ... along with half an hour of Just Dance each day :dance:0
