Forgot to mention, sonoma diet includes a glass of wine each night - just a small one but still it all helps!

    I'm in :T.

Not sure if any of you have a wii ( probably not as my only excuse is DD :o) but for fun & exercise combined I recommend the Just Dance game. It is so much fun if you like dancing ... so in that respect I guess any form of dancing which raises your heartrate is good ... there must be loads of dancercise type dvd's out there . You wear what you want, no one else sees you & you dont even leave your living room :D

I've had bath, done my nails & thought about what to wear tomorrow but as everything will be a bit snug I'll be uncomfortable whatever I choose .

What's the street dance like BibbityBob? I've been thinking of doing something like that, but not sure if I'm fit enough or co-ordinated enough

Lula - No, I don't have a Wii, wish I did :( They look brilliant!

I'll be uncomfortable too :o There's going to be miserable, cold, uncomfortable people in offices all over the country :(

We are united in misery, discomfort & frozziness ... doesnt make me feel much better tho. Even DD who normally loves school isnt too keen about going back tomorrow - someone should just cancel January altogether.

I am so sick of having to wear trainers with my fur coat to work! I don't possess and wont pay for a pair of flat boots as I hate them so having to look like a right twonk in the meantime!

I really enjoy it! I used to dance but seem to have lost all co-ordination since  I won't lie, it's an hour of really hard work but I like to feel like I've had my money's worth!! It took me a few weeks to build up stamina and get into it. I stopped before Christmas as I went back too soon after being ill and it was SO hard to do the whole session. But I'm hoping after a good rest I'll be able to get into it easier this time.

ETA: I don't think I've sold it very well :D it's really good fun, especially going with friends and it's all recent, funky music so I feel really pumped up afterwards. Fab adrenaline rush!

Both the art books and Beyonce dance sound great :D the punchy arm things she does really cracks me up though. I'm starting back at street dance this week - the only exercise I've managed to stick to lately. What books did you buy? *nosy* I went to the Tate at Liverpool this morning so feeling very inspired (not done anything about it other than take a couple of arty photos on the walk back to the hotel though )

Ooh, I've seen a few street dance things recently and they all make me want to get up and dance! Are you learning all that breakdancing stuff where you stand on your hands?!

I've been doing tap and I need to sign up for this again, I didn't do last term and really missed it.

My books were a book on The Supremes (I went to the Victoria & Albert museum today and they'd done a show on their costumes a while back and it was half price) and then on the way back home we came across the Phaidon shop and they had a massive sale so a I bought a photography book of a japanese photographer called Araki - his work is fab although a lot of it involves naked people so be cautious if you google him! The book is massive and was reduced from £45 to £27.

It is a lot but the book has tons of his work and I worked at the gallery in which his exhibition was on at a few years ago so am pleased to finally own it!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

No chance, it's hard enough co-ordinating my hands and feet to move at the same time :D

    Books sound great!

I love dancing and used to tap dance until I was about 13. I've not got it anymore so the only dancing I get to do is when I'm on a night out. I love going to watch the local dance shows and I always come away feeling sad that I can't dance anymore. I fancy getting that just dance for the wii. A friend has also said it's fantastic.

Good luck with the healthy eating tomorrow everyone! I don't think I'll be starting tomorrow as I'm travelling back from my Dad's and know the car picnic is going to contain lots of bread and yummy savoury stuff..yum yum! I love picnics!!

I'm not back at work till Thursday and although I don't want to go I am so looking forward to getting back into routine again. I've eaten loads of rubbish the last couple of weeks and I think I've stayed in my pj's more days than I've got dressed. I am so lazy :o I'll probably start the planning for my new regime on Tuesday but then get into action on Thursday when my week starts.

I hope everybodys day goes better tomorrow than you're all expecting!

Yeah, I used to dance aswell and I'd love to have to start again. I've just booked myself onto a salsa course that starts later on in the month. I want to do latin/ballroom, street dance...I want to do it all! I like exercise that doesn't feel like exercise so dancing/walking/horse riding all suit me pretty well. I like to be so busy concentrating on remembering steps/technique/what's going on around me that I don't notice that I'm exercising!

I think you have sold it very well, I'm definitely going to give it a go this year. It will be on my list :D Please feel free to nag me folks if I don't do it :o

Good luck with your class this week BibbityBob, let me know how it goes.
