Ooh and will be at Mum and Dad's for Xmas and might not get online very much so MERRY XMAS to all. Hope you have a fab day either with family or relaxing on your own and remember you can eat as much as you like, its Xmas. Looking forward to loads of food and a lovely time with Mum, Dad and bro on Friday after work tomorrow. It'll be mental, full of men with no idea what to buy!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Lula, am most impressed by amazon funds stretching:beer:
Well, this 's t r e t c h i n g' is a genetic trait I inherited from my dear mother. That fabby lady could 'stretch' a £5 M&S voucher to acquire an entire outfit :rotfl:It's a simple principle; if you have any amount in vouchers then whatever cash you use to make up the difference doesnt really count
Of course, I wont be employing this method next year.
Oooh, talking of DVDs, I have 'He's just not that into you' to watch. It will be good preparation in case men appear, as if by magic , next year
Just off to hunt for Souks diary now ...0 -
Up early so just want to add that I have a loony customer expected in today. She had me on the phone for half an hour and was having a right old rant. She's threatened to come into the shop today so I have security on red alert. Also of course I will say 'Get out of my way I'm festive and fabulous!'. Have bought a new frock for today on my 75% discount. HAD to use it as it runs out soon (and will slip under Lula's radar!) Festive wishes to all XXX'The road to a friends house is never long'0

I cant wait for an opportunity to say this!RosaBernicia wrote: »
I am not overdoing the frugal thing next year, it just makes me miserable and I wind up overspending to compensate. I am going to be balanced Frugal and Fabulous, after all they are equally important
Well said Rosa, i completely agree.
Merry Chistmas everyone, I wont be logging on tomorrow, so I hope you all have a wonderful time and find your day full of lovely men, Gordon, Bailey, the good Captain Morgan,(hands off, he's mine, in all his pirate-y goodness) etc :xmassmile

Hello all, had to venture out again to top up supplies as I am not sure how much worse the weather is going to get, almost fell over a few times  but have now got enough to keep me going until new year. Managed to get a few bargains to put away for the beginning of the year and some nice port and stilton which was reduced to have tomorrow night. :j
I am in the process of tidying as I want to get everything done by this afternoon so I can settle down with some rubbish Christmas telly and lots of snacks.:jI think that the contents of my fridge guarantee that I am going to be putting on weight over Christmas:rolleyes: but I am not going to be denying myself anything as I have a frugal year coming up.
Also looked at the Clarks sale online and am now the proud owner of 3 new pairs of shoes
and £100 poorer:o. I had to get them now as I won't be able to get any new ones next year and they were all half price and if they are not absolutely perfect I will send them back. I wasn't going to but reading of Lula's purchases made me feel I can justify it.

My home now as clean & shiny as it's ever going to be - just dont look in my bedroom  -
Inspite of the fact he's coming over tomorrow my father has insisted on popping in tonight as well . I am not impressed but will just keep grinning & bearing it. Me thinks I should buy more tonic just to keep my mouth busy
Better get some decent clothes on now, so if I dont pop back later then I wish all you fabulous peeps a very Merry Christmas.
