Ditto souk i spend like 5 days being a b*tch and wanting to mount anything vaguely ok looking & don't forget the eating like u need to lay down blubber for a new life as a whale! Black cohosh has helped me tho!
Very possibly the funniest thing I have read in days!
Was nodding and agreeing with all the PMT comments, I turn in to a horrible whiny, !!!!!y, angry, horny monster for 3 or 4 days, fortunately I usually realise by the 2nd day, so can always talk myself back from the proverbial ledge "calm down Carole, its just the PMT, you dont really care that much about a few Christmas Carol jokes".....etc
All the christmas shopping is done and the presents are wrapped, am starting to feel really festive, and am looking forward to my single christmas and new year. Lets face it, it cant get worse than last year, getting dumped on the 27th of December and having to put a brave face on cause my Dad had a broken hip and pelvis and we had a house full of guests.
Yep, this festive season is going to be ace, and 2010 is going to be amazing, and this time next year we will all be sat on this thread congratulating each other on how amazing it has been, and how F Fab we are.Debt free date - 4th December 2008 :j0 -

Oh dear what a nightmare!

Ziggles, the Christmas Carol joke thing really happened, I got really mad at a friend of a friend who had very kindly got me into a club free by putting me on the guest list, but because he didnt know my last name he put me down as Carol Singer.....fortunatly I stopped mid rant, realised it was PMT and gave him a hug and said thanks for getting me in - but really, how ungrateful to complain about the name he used? Was so ashamed of myself, fortunatly he is really good natured and just laughed!Debt free date - 4th December 2008 :j0

Carol Singer.... bwahahahaha!
Sorry.... ;PThe size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

I have just checked quidco and it looks like the RAC have finally paid up:j. I should be getting £72 this month:j. Have not had a lare payout from them for a while so am very happy with that:D.
I have decided to restart the £20k challenge in my sig on Jan 1st, I haven't done brilliantly but not too badly either, however as I am going to spend 2010 being as penny pinching as possible it makes sense for me to start from that point so I can see how much difference I have made financially.
I have not left the house today as I don't particularly want to fall over, luckily I am all stocked up on everything except wine so I may risk it tomorrow if the weather is better.
Have just remembered I need to go out tomorrow to hand out presents, would probably not bother but as I will be receiving presents as well I will have to force myself.:D

I am so disorganised
Have only done half my food shopping, haven't wrapped anything and my apartment is a tip despite the fact that I have guests on Christmas Eve

Hi all,
sarah - that's excellent news on your RAC payout :j - took long enough
I'm wondering whether to remain with RAC for breakdown this year, or whether to switch back to AA for either £20 Boots voucher via phone or £20 Quidco cashback
I am also debating whether I should go & spend £30 on some perfume at Boots tomorrow just so that I can gain 500 points
I now have all but 2 gifts wrapped, all the food we will need until next year & as much alcohol as I can take. Last count was 2 bottles of Gordon, 1 bottle of Baileys, 1 bottle of Disaronno, 2 bottles of Pink elephant, 1 bottle of red & 1 bottle of cava. I am going to have gather more tonic water from somehwere & also realised today that I have zero wine glasses, & only 3 hiballs left
. I will happily drink from a bucket if necessary but think my guests may prefer proper drinkware
I have a really nasty feeling that I may have to visit that dreaded shop tomorrow . It's that or a trip into town & at last I can get tonic water at the same time.0 -

I was meant to do the shopping yesterday, house tidying today and friend visiting tomorrow.
So I did shop on Monday, took all day and got caught in the snow, couldn't finish it, had to go out again today. The queues were mad!Took hours.
end result, no house tidying! no presents wrapped, and now I don't know what to do.
Do I go friend visiting tomorrow? Or do house tidy wrap presents and visit on Christmas eve? which is a pain cos people will probably be out.
I could do some house tidying and then visit two friends in the afternoon?
oo decisions decisions, especially hard when all I want is chocolate.
And I am watching The Happening. Really don't bother.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Hi all,
sarah - that's excellent news on your RAC payout :j - took long enough
Only since May. It's nearly time to get 2010's quote. On the plus side I will have £72 to add to my 2010 challenge.
Am bored. Need to go out for lunch tomorrow and replenish alcohol stocks but apart from that I don't really need anything until next year. I did a food shop yesterday which included lots of Christmas food and came to £40:eek:. Am going to stick to a budget of £20 a week next year so decided I would get lots of nice things to ease me into it.
Need to do some tidying. Even half an hour would make a massive difference but I just cannot be bothered. Will have to get it done tomorrow as I don't want to spend Christmas in a tip.
On the plus side I got 2 freebie teabags through the post today with a 20p off voucher:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0
