Uh-oh trouble in paradise... you know we have sunbeds and electric blankets in the UK right?

If it makes you feel any better my family are just as bad if not worse, hence why I'm spending Xmas on my own rather than put myself through 48hrs of misery.

It's snowing here, I love it.

Anyway family at christmas, as there aren't that many of us anymore have to goto my lil sis, but have to collect my older sis and her kids, and then I have to grit my teeth and smile all day while I slowly get more wound up, and wish I was home with the mutts, but as my lil sis say's it's once a year, yes but I'm not drinking like a fish to drown it out.

    Hey guys,

sympathy to those having family dramas. I recently decided that I no longer have a family as such, more a collection of relatives .

Eco, this is the first year in about 10 that I am staying home with my bottles & I fully intend to make the most of it :D It may well be 'only one day', but it can last & last & last for what seems like forever when sober :(.

Had a great night works do out on monday, went to Jongleurs in Battersea, drank plenty, food was grim but comedians very funny :rotfl: Got home at 12.30 then had to do 3 hours of home job work so have felt like death the next day & have been frantically busy every night since.

Finished work job today until january & looking forward to getting house decorated at the weekend :)
  • Hello all, am trying to write some of my 100 list, am most annoyed that one of my targets is to be 9.5 stone and that I will only get there after getting through quite a few half stones, I used to be 9.5 stone not so long ago grrrrrrrrrr:mad:

All my shopping is done:jJust need to wrap the stuff now:rolleyes:

Have also finished work now until 4th, just got to do the wrapping and then I am all set and I am going to have a lie in every day for 2 weeks:D

Aaargh, just remembered I still need to do food shopping:mad:

OMG Miss Lauren - family dramas a go go. Feel sorry for you and your sis caught in the middle. At least there is a week to go for people to calm down and call a truce.

Thankfully my family isn't too bad - in fact I'm looking forward to it :o

And I bought my last present today :j Just got to wait for it to be delivered but according to Amazon, it WILL arrive for the big day! Still is half of my Dad's pressie so even if it doesn't arrive, he will still have something to open.

Am so looking forward to the time off work. I've 3 days left at work and then I'm free for almost a whole week! :j:beer:

I've got the La Roux album which is ace. I've managed to work things out wrong with all my cunning voucher-ness and had a £12 HMV voucher but no one left to get gifts for? So spent it on myself :j Am also waiting for The Specials to arrive.
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)
  • Thanks to all the well wishes... I've managed to de-stress a little now which is good, although I'm a little annoyed because the situation definitely could have been avoided.

I'm starting to think I should delay moving, I was going to do it in the next couple of weeks but I've realised I'm going to be at least $150 worse off a week after transport costs and board. If I could throw that off my debts for 2 months, thats another $1,200 or so less to pay.

Need to have a think about it.

  • Got a dilemna...I go through stages where I'm starving for a couple of months at a time, and I literally eat ALL the time, and then I have a couple of months where I'm not really hungry, don't finish meals, etc. Not a concious decision, probably to do with how stressed I am at the time!
For about the las 6 months I have done nothing but eat, gone up from a size 8 to a 10-12 depending on shop. My bottom half is bigger than my top, but, with the help of a fabby bra, I had a cleavage! (Not usual for me!)
Now, probably because of all the sh*t with the ex, I'm off food again. Not weighed myself, but can see by my bra that its not gonna be long before I'm back to my old self! Why are the boobs always the first to leave?
Now I don't know whether to make myself keep up the eating, or to give in and go back to my old weight...not really happy with my figure at either weight as I have a big !!! and thighs either way! what to do...
