Well done Sarahb - my wrapping always looks carp too but I figure that it's gone so quickly no one will remember?

Clarabella - def keep eating, try to get into a routine if you find yourself forgetting to eat. Maybe have easy things to make - even beans on toast is a good choice (esp. with wholemeal bread) or a jacket spud in micro with a bit of cheese & coleslaw. Or for super easy eating, why not make a big pot of veggie soup, very MSE and easy to do - then have lovely bread to have with it. Takes 2 mins to heat up (and only 20mins to make in first place)

Sadly I never forget to eat.....when I'm down I eat to cheeer myself up and when things are going well - I always deserve a treat :o

MissLauren - def think keeping a distance is a good idea for a while. Also gives you a chance to see how you feel. You can work out if you want to get back together or if you want a break. Have you read 'He's not that into you'??? Excellent self-help book - esp for people who hate self help!!! :T Very wise words and very good at stressing that you are too F Fabulous for idiot ex's who can't decide if they are coming or going.....

Have lots of ideas swishing round head for 2010 so think will make a start on list this weekend. Can't wait!!! I'm feeling really excited about 2010!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

I think will make sure I either buy books, CD's or DVD's with Amazon vouchers that I've earnt. They are easiest to wrap and can even look quite neat!!!!

Not going down the annoying shaped things from Boots gift department (esp kids toys  talk about nightmare shapes!!!)

I'm with you both on the wrapping of presents; they just get ripped apart anyway

I'm also very excited about 2010 :j & plan to be very frugal too. I really believe that if I can clear my CCs in the next year ( am allowing myself 3 months extra if necessary) then it willbe so worth all the frugality.

I too plan to use Amazon for most of my present shopping next year - loving that delivery service :T & will convert all survey vouchers into amazon ones so should have a very cheap christmas next year. I like the idea of being done by November too. Is this so we can all go on gorgeous European City Breaks throughout December ? :D

OOh what a nice idea. How do Nectar points on ebay work or is that Amazon? Think I need to sleep!

My family switched to gift bags a couple of years ago... admittedly they're expensive to buy at first but you just make sure that you get the bags back a couple of weeks later and re-use them every year.
