I'm not too sure what to do with this ex of mine.

He really can infuriate me sometimes, but with other things he really seems to be trying. I would get mad at him for not replying to messages, and so now he'll reply to every one of them. But then again I don't really want to know that he can't chat because he's with a mate at midnight.

I wasn't going to get him a christmas present but then he brought it up and he was getting one for me, so I got him this Aston Martin model... I kind of want to keep it for myself, and I certainly don't want him to have it if that 'mate' of his was of the female variety.

:confused: how 'ex' is this 'ex' Sounds like a lot of feelings/stuff on both sides

  • Mmm.. We were together 2 years, broke up the day after our anniversary.. which was a little over a month ago. So not that long, and apparentley it was nothing to do with me... Haven't been able to get a straight answer out of him as to why.

It's just.. weird? We've seen and talked to each other more since we broke up than we did when we were together. Not sure what to think at this point...

No advice really - but don't get taken for a ride (having his cake and eating it type stuff)

Ummm I'd tell him where to stick it... he broke it off in the first place so he doesn't deserve the time of day. Don't be fooled into becoming just a FWB so he can play around.

2 years... that's quite a while I know people who've been married (and divorced..) inside that timeframe.. just allow yourself time to heal.. and that requires some amount of distance, I am quite close with some of my ex-bf's but it took time not speaking to get there. Just remember to protect yourself. Not always easy to do if the yearning is still there but he chose to break away for his own reasons and its important to concentrate on what you want / need now...

Yeh having thought about this a wee bit more I was going to suggest distance... you can't move on when you're spending so much time together. Back it off a load and see how you feel in a month or so...
