Ello ello, I dropped off the radar again and missed all the interesting bits!

Money Fritter: ALWAYS be yourself, one thing I have learnt for sure is that you can only have a properly fantastic relationship if you are 100% yourself. If you change your behaviour or opinions just to fit in with your partner than it's doomed to fail eventually.
My current FBW is very different to me yet we also agree on many points. The only reason we get on so well is because we accept the differences and concentrate on the similarities. Being 100% in-sync with a partner is fake and the relationship will suffer.

Right, now for the other 4 pages I missed...

Bones is F.I.T. and I want to marry her :D She makes me go gooey inside.

Women are drawn to bad men because they keep life interesting. The key to keeping hold of a woman who likes bad man is to keep her interested in you without being a bad man yourself. See my paragraph above about NOT agreeing and pandering to her needs but being independent in thought and actions. That way you can have an amazing time together but when you want to go on the lash with mates you can, if she doesn't like it then tough!

I need to get in some booze for the Xmas period... a local brewery does 18 or 36 pint containers of real ale... gorgeous stuff but it only lasts 4-6days at the max.... I've taken a liking to gin recently though... need to find some decent cheap red wine in the local shops too.

Finally welcome to the new posters, come in and pour yourself a glass :D

I'm sorry for the demon I've become but you should be sorry for the angel you are not.
  • well, I had planned on been grown up. But I found out he text his brothers girlfriend and asked her not to tell someone that I had stayed over-obviously lining the next one up already. So I text him and told that he had man boobs. Ha. right, back to being an adult again!
  • I had a fab night out in Newcastle earlier in the year, loved it. Wish I was coming with you Money Fritter!

Grrr:mad:. My candles have arrived, along with the goody bag and samples, the goody bag was supposed to be a nice make up bag with 8 things in, instead they have sent me a see through bag with 4 things in, none of which are the ones I wanted. I suppose I can't complain because it was free and not advertised on their site, it was a code I found somewhere else, but even so, I think it is very cheeky of them. I had bookmarked the site in case I wanted to get anything else but they can sod off now.

  • Well hmpf to the candle people Sarah but at least you only paid them half as much as you were originally going to spend with them!

Still no fire here although landlord is sorting it on Monday. So not going to kick up major fuss til then. Haven't done much swotting yet - caught up on sleep, then went to library to get books I ordered from them instead of Amazon (see this MSE thing is sinking in eventually) and then Waitrose (feeling v organised as bought double of all the things I can't get in Tatco, so can just get the rest there and stay away from all the yummy expensive things in Waitrose). Plus have cooked proper meal and made enough for tomorrow - go me. Now retiring to my bedroom (only warm place in house) with textbook and compensatory chocolate.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, preferably doing something more interesting than I am!

    Hello,

am about a tenth of the way through my task list but now both bored & fed up.

Have totally lost the love for christmas & all things requiring wrapping

Have just let my beloved G out of the bottle :D

TDQ, you may well be the last man on earth who speaks sense & knows how to conduct an exciting yet independent relationship. I totally agree about being told 'tough' to a boys night on the lash. Have no time for wet & weak types who pander. It's pathetic & rapidly becomes annoying & then requires severe boundary testing which usually ends in tears

Anyway, not to worry for now as come sunday, SBC is going to provide all the answers

Sarah - am sorry to hear your candle order freebie was not up to scratch, agree with Rosa as to being glad you only spent half what you originally planned :D

Off to update task list ...

Exactly, would have been very annoyed and it is false advertising. The candles are nice and I shall have to use them sparingly as I won't be doing any spending next year:rolleyes:

Have realised I had forgotten to get 2 presents so I need to go and get them tomorrow:rolleyes:. I wanted to have everything sorted and wrapped by now, I hate not being organised for Christmas.

I've been out at a friends today. She was having a get-together for Christmas and so was good to catch up with friends.

I think I'm super-sensitive about people with kids and I should just get over myself. However it does bug me how their kids manage to take over everything.

Aaargh, I'm cross with myself for being so b*tchy.

Maybe I should put 'be a nicer person' on my 2010 list? or try some meditation or something to be calmer.....
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

How annoying about needing more christmas presents

I have felt utterly out of control with spending on presents & also hate not being organized. I think it was makeup who said about being all done with presents by end of november as december is for parties & having fun. Utterly brilliant & I intend to adopt this for 2010.

I'm really not having much fun at all, I just feel stressed, overwhelmed & guilty :o. I have also just remembered that I am meant to be rescheduling a visit to my lovely friend in cornwall over the festive period.

I am not being a very good friend to my longstanding friends & it makes me feel bad. Another situation to rectify on the 2010 list.

Need to continue with my task list now ...
