thanks for the reply Mrs R. Honestly the virgin scratchy is the best and takes hardly any time at all. Just updated my sig. CC1's statement was through so I've taken off the min pmt and added interest. Only about £8 difference! Another £15 from bingo sites arrived in my account this morning to pay off the o/d, at the moment it's in a savings account and will be transferred when I get enough to pay a chunk off so I haven't included it in my o/d balance but it is included in the challenge figures. Clear as mud?

CC2 statement should come in soon I think.
Decided mini challenge will be to reach 10% off all debts. Should make it before Christmas I think. Got to work extra hard! :T
Did some slice the pie last night, need to review 6 more before payout so I'll do that today so I'm done before no more internet.
Oh and had another NSD day yesterday, forgot to update that. Will go and do it now.2010 Cost of Living Challenge - £901/£5300 * Grocery challenge - £117.91/£120 *Total Debt- [STRIKE]£6388.74[/STRIKE] £5995.66 :eek:Debt Free Reward Pot £11 * Overdraft vs 100 days £363.76/£800 *Feb NSD's 8/120 -
Well done on all your nsd's Homegrown and I am sure you will reach your 10% target before Christmas. x x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Thanks penguin. I thought today might have been one but no, we ended up having a McD's for tea (in budget but still...) and I've bought OH a picooz helicopter thing for Xmas which was £9 from debenhams (on the grabbit board). He had a £30 one which got broken and he was gutted so this should be a nice surprise.
Last day before no internet - boo hoo. I still have iPhone access but I hate trying to post long updates on it so won't be saying much.
I'm thinking about more challenges to keep me going in the new year. Maybe the live on £4000 a year? I'm definitely doing the Debt Free Reward pot and I'm going to put £1 in a pot everytime I pay off £50 from the debt. Can't quite afford to backdate it so shall just start from today. I'll add it to my sig somewhere...
see you all when I get back in the land of internet (which might be tomorrow as off to my mums!!!)2010 Cost of Living Challenge - £901/£5300 * Grocery challenge - £117.91/£120 *Total Debt- [STRIKE]£6388.74[/STRIKE] £5995.66 :eek:Debt Free Reward Pot £11 * Overdraft vs 100 days £363.76/£800 *Feb NSD's 8/120 -
Just a quick post as am without Internet still and on oh's iPhone. CC2's bill came this morning so have updated sig. Am 14p off being under £5700. I wish I could PAD something but it's too tricky on the phone. Internet back on Friday so I'll be back then and update more and shall pay something down to get under that figure!2010 Cost of Living Challenge - £901/£5300 * Grocery challenge - £117.91/£120 *Total Debt- [STRIKE]£6388.74[/STRIKE] £5995.66 :eek:Debt Free Reward Pot £11 * Overdraft vs 100 days £363.76/£800 *Feb NSD's 8/120

well I'm back online. No point in paying off that extra 14p though as our car broke the other day and we'll need to pay for that. It looks like it will be expensive and happened the day I got a 0% cc to do a balance transfer. No other money so we'll have to use the credit card. Argh. I so don't want to do this.
I'm hoping it doesn't cost us too much, but anything is more than we have at the moment really. I'll be back tomorrow with some better idea of where our figures are anyway.

Not had time to do much number crunching unfortunately.
Had a nice (free thanks to british gas) family swim today and then had tea at father in laws house. Last NSD of the month for me too as we'll spend tomorrow but I met my target!! Not sure whether to go for 10 again in December?
Car in to get fixed tomorrow so we'll see what the damage is then.2010 Cost of Living Challenge - £901/£5300 * Grocery challenge - £117.91/£120 *Total Debt- [STRIKE]£6388.74[/STRIKE] £5995.66 :eek:Debt Free Reward Pot £11 * Overdraft vs 100 days £363.76/£800 *Feb NSD's 8/120 -
Still no idea how much the car will cost yet
However in better news have paid off another £6.76 off the CC1. This keeps the payment stuck at £30 instead of the min. I tried to change the DD to keep it at that but it wouldn't work. I know with the other CC we were told that we could either set up the dd for the minimum or for all of it so maybe that is why. I suppose I always know that we're covered if I forget. I paid £60 min payment on CC2 today but will update figs for that when the statement comes in. I know probably confusing, but I know what is what!!
So I am now under £5700 :T I know the figures will all go up soon when we pay for the car, but for now I am just concentrating on what is there.
I'm not sure I'll make my crazy OD challenge, especially as some of it might be needed for the car. At the moment I have £80 put away to pay off it (plus I'd already paid off £200) and in theory there should be another £50 that I would have tried to pay off anyway. I was hoping for a bit more from Quidco but not all was paid that I expected.
In bingo news I won £10 from bingo britain yesterday! Just needs to hit my account now. I have a grand total of £15 in amazon vouchers too from bingoport. Really liking that site even though I hate making the posts every day!2010 Cost of Living Challenge - £901/£5300 * Grocery challenge - £117.91/£120 *Total Debt- [STRIKE]£6388.74[/STRIKE] £5995.66 :eek:Debt Free Reward Pot £11 * Overdraft vs 100 days £363.76/£800 *Feb NSD's 8/120 -

I've just reached the payout threshold on Slice the Pie so hopefully another £5 there. Realised I also had £1 in pennies kicking around and some stray money in another savings account, only a couple of quid but it wasn't doing anything so I've transferred it over. Takes me to nearly £90 in the 'pay off overdraft' fund.
Gotta find the positives somewhere eh?2010 Cost of Living Challenge - £901/£5300 * Grocery challenge - £117.91/£120 *Total Debt- [STRIKE]£6388.74[/STRIKE] £5995.66 :eek:Debt Free Reward Pot £11 * Overdraft vs 100 days £363.76/£800 *Feb NSD's 8/120
