  • Thanks for the replies MT, Mrs R and Pickle. Sorry to not be keeping up as well as I should be. I appreciate the support though :T

Things not going so great at DH's job, we've fears for redundancy but we're looking on it as an opportunity if it does happen and we'll try another path in life. Not going to get down about it.

My paying off overdraft account is now standing at £363.76. I'm not doing anywhere near as good as I should be at trying to get extra money to pay things off. I haven't done any scratchies in ages and have had about a month off from BingoP0rt. Need to get back on it. I mean I'm still being frugal, getting my head round meal planning and stuff so all is still good, but it does certainly feel like I'm standing fairly still and hardly moving. I know it's not really the case though.

I've also got £90 in an emergency savings account which I think is great. I'm adding £30 a month and I can't wait to have it in the hundreds. Not sure what my target for emergency savings is going to be. I guess I'm assuming it will get eaten up at some point, but £250 would be a good goal wouldn't it? Then could aim for £500 and then eventually £1000. Will take a while, but anything is possible :D

My NSD's this month have gone ok. I'm not sure I'll hit 12 this month. I need 5 from the next 7 to do it. I know Thursday won't be. I wonder if I can limit any spending to maybe Thursday and next Saturday?? Worth a try :o:D
