Him delivering mail from his car didn't seem out of the ordinary I've seen other posties do that, his other actions are weird though. I mean, you'd think the girl would change out of her school clothes first...

as far as RM will be concerned, if the post has been put into the property, its been delivered.
as your HA has split 1 property into multiple properties, they should have put in multiple postboxes. i would assume they have them all listed as seperate addresses, so they would have seperate post.

i would actually say that the HA is incompetent
but then it is a public body, what can you expect nowadays!

Well I live next to the sorting office and I see all the locals I know/new starts arriving coinciding with the xmas vacancies they have recently applied for at the job centre. I have spoken to them and that is what they told me

you live next to A delivery office,so these will be part timers on limited hour contracts.
    probably 1 hour contracts
RM havent employed FT delivery postmen/women in a long time so anyone employed nowadays is as good as a temp
probably dumped on the street with no training so mistakes are hardly a surprise

I really want to say thanks to you. I really admire how you have kept me right most of the day. I like your really attentive style. As a newbie you have made me feel very welcome. They dont make them like you anymore. Again, thank you.

Welcome to Praise Vent and Warning.

Custardy, to be fair, is brilliant on postie stuff. He is really helpful on royal mail queries, especially on the ebay board. I do think he feels a bit 'got at' sometimes as a postie as a lot of flak is directed at posties that perhaps is not warranted.

MSE is a very broad church. Some boards are very huggy (old style, debt free wannabe) others are completely the opposite (Praise Vent and Warnings, ebay and really, only post on the benefits board if you feel flame proof!). I am sure there is something for you here, hang around and browse. There are some lovely people on here.

    Welcome to MSE

I've just searched the Royal Mail website for current job vacancies near me and the first result was titled 'Xmas Casuals Tyneside Mail Centre'. I can link to it and even print screen it if I really have to.
