Maybe not was just the camera angle!0

yep, 4th in the end!
But this USA win is looking nailed on...
We're happy with that result...2 americans in the top 4 (and 4 in the top 8)...especially impressed with Ryan Hall in 4th. That, plus the resurgence of the aussies should give the British boys a kick up the backside and start to get rid of the defeatism! (hopefully)
Also, very impressed with Veronique Marot's commentary...nice to have someone talk with a bit of knowledge. (although I still owe her an apology for a little incident 20 odd years ago)
And great to have 3 hours of coverage solely covering the actual race rather than covering the fancy dress parade....I wonder if the BBC will follow suit in their London coverage? (Not likely is the answer to that one!)Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Oh, I missed all the excitement. I was just settling down to watch the last coverage of the marathon and realised that if I didn't get my butt out the door I would be running through the country park in the dark. It was very blustery but dry and reasonably cool - as it should be in November :rotfl: I seemed to have developed tigger legs this afternoon and set off a bit fast but soon slowed down when I was running into the wind.
Thanks for posting the chip times krider - I'd been looking out for them but they weren't on the site last time I looked.
evab - very short dress??? Whatever next? Kinky shorts like Uk's?? :rotfl::rotfl:2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -

Hi everyone, I know, I've vanished for a bit. Well, it's all falling apart here. I'm back working full time, don't seem to have a minute to myself, clocks changed, husband complaining about me going out in the dark, tired, so, have hardly run at all, hardly lifted any weights - eaten crap, although, that makes me feel terrible, so I quickly adjust the eating back to normal.
So, went for a run today - OMG! I've lost it, only went 4 miles, legs are fine, but I was wheezing and gasping, like I'd never run in my life! I've been coughing all evening. Help!
I've got this Athens 10K next weekend, and I kinda wish I hadn't signed up, but then again, without goals, I think I'd totally lose it right now.
I know I can still do 10K, but my time will be rubbish. So, what's to do this week? Run my feet off? Or will that just knacker me out. I thought 2 or 3 long sloooowwww runs, like I did when trying to build up to better speeds.
All advise welcome, before I go slit my wrists at what a failure I've become. I HATE being this disappointed with myself. All the work I've done, and I blow it with 2 lazy weeks. I'm so stupid.0
