I use one of these for my phone and keys - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/run/8/Nike_Running_Arm_Wallet~Phone_Case/5360043472/

and I bought one of these - http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/2827_11556.htm - from Aldi the other day - it's really comfortable and light weight but it was quite a warm evening when I tried it out and it was a bit sweaty inside by the time I'd finished. Dried off really fast though.

Blushing - If I am running with others I leave my phone in the car boot. When I first started I just stuck my mobile in my sports bra!:o:eek: When I got into it though I got a pair of shorts with a tiny pocket for my phone. I always hold my keys in my hand. A finger through the ring of them.

I got http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/2827_11552.htm the thicker jacket from Aldi (in blue) but its not cold enough to wear out and about yet. Really soft material though.

One must really plan when buying the old shorts :)

that said even with pockets the sound of your keys going off on everyother step can drive you mad after a few miles... so normaly end up in the hand.. but when in shorts it do let people know you are behind them and they seem to move out the way more.

Bah why is it that when you rest to make sure your knee is fine you manage a run with all well then get ill. Supposedly have Swine Flu according to that silly website where as using the normal NHS symptom website i get flu like symptoms which sounds better.

  • Bad luck kms; hope you are feeling better soon. _pale_

bb - I buy shorts with a zip pocket in the back too. I never go on a training run without my 'phone so a pocket is essential. :D

  • Shorts with at least a zipped pocket for me too if I can - I take my phone and inhaler out with me every run (for obvious reasons). What is annoying is the number of womens clothing items without pockets, or with such tiny pockets that I can't even get my phone in them - and it's not that big!! I've had to get a case like red uses to store my phone with the capri things I have, which can barely take the inhaler :( Sorry rant over, it's a bit of a bug bear. Especially as the chaps shorts have bigger/more/both pockets

kms - hope it's not the swine flu!

Simply - there are some great photos there!
