5 miles done this evening - it was so hot and muggy, and I have not had enough to eat today, so felt pretty bleurgh on the way round. I would have liked to have done another couple of miles, but it just wasn't going to happen, so called it a day.

I'm out again on Saturday, but having a rest tomorrow evening...

    Happy running everyone!

well what an absolutely disasterous run that was! nearly got ran over by a stupido in a golf. the ensuing fisticuffs on the side of the roadhad people selling tickets for ringside seats... then my mobile kept ringing.. cant leave it at home as i run alone so carry it for security and i really was feeling it.. so managed 4 miles then stopped and walked the remaining three home!! completed day one of the shred though so wasnt too bad i guess. I suppose sometimes, despite the bad runs, you just need to remember that tomorrow is another day, our bodies have off days the same as our minds and just because our head says we are up for it doesnt necessarily mean that our poorly fuelled, hard worked bodies feel the same.
So i will head back out tomorrow, at my friends a route i love running, with renewed vigour and enthusiasm, and hopefully pull a good one out of the bag.
Keep on running peeps and dont let the bad ones grind you down!!

You have to have the occasional bad run to remind you just how good the good runs are!

Completed Week 2 today with the 3rd run of the week - felt ok, very warm first thing this morning, speeded up towards the end of the intervals and took a while to recover. Have also walked up into town, around and back approx 2-3mile walk so hips a little achy and have slapped on some arnica gel I found in the cupboard to help.

Caved in last night to a takeaway which wasn't worth the money at all, feel bloated today and have chucked out the menu into the recycling and am back on the meal plan from tonight again as the bloatedness wasn't very nice when running this morning.

Week 3 next week here I come!
