So she did..1:17:02 - that should help her in her quest to win the 'Spouse Smackdown' stakes.:p

I couldnt see Idio's result either!

But I was impressed with Anna Critchlow's performance (she was 30 secs behind me at Richmond on 2nd Jan) running 1:22:07. So shes improved quicker than me...:(:D

  • Fantastic running over the weekend - well done everyone! :T

It was a lovely day here on Saturday - had a great hilly walk in the Peak District - and then Sunday woke up to four inches of snow! Headed out for my run but had to admit defeat at four miles as I was slipping all over the place, including into the road, and didn't want to do myself any damage. Felt like further than that mind you with the extra effort! My schedule is all out this week due to parents visiting from Thursday night - will run when they're here but can't really abandon them for 2-3 hours, so am going to attempt long runs in the middle of this week and next week instead. Blooming snow - had enough of it now!

Well I looked up your time from a previous race and then got your name and searched for that name in the results and it didnt come up - but maybe the time for your previous race is wrong then in our list! I'm sure we've had this problem before with your name - I always think you are someone else who has very similar times :o

Anyway how did you do? :)

I mean where were you looking for the results? I can't see them up on the wokingham half website yet.

You might just not be looking far enough down the list? :)

I did quite well, actually - got round pretty comfortably in the end in 2:02:30ish - so a mile off my last time, but given my total lack of prep, not too bad at all. Felt strong, enjoyed it, didn't even mind getting drenched on the way to the start.

Maybe I should try this "running" thing more often...
