He might well have done except the shoes might have taken 30seconds off at a push but I've bettered my pb by 1:32 since I've had them so :p:p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yeah, considering you've beaten previous attmepts in the same shoes by a fair bit, take it with a pinch of salt.

You really are creeping up on my and I'm not sure I like it :rotfl:

    WAVA wise...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::p

However I actually think this is great - we are going to push each other round Blackpool which will result in a good time for both of us I think! :D

Agree about pushing each other, I think it's great too. Nothing like a bit of healthy competition!

    Oh, I wish........

I think I might have trouble with this chap (and many more like him):

    Training for January:

    Total miles = 526
    Average Pace = 6:41m/m
    Average HR = 137bpm (73% MAX)
    Days Rest = 0
Miles run greater than Half marathon effort = 0
Disappointing "little picture" races = 2
    Weekly totals of 101,122,122,130

    Long runs include :
    1 x 18 miles
    2 x 19 miles
    3 x 20 miles
    1 x 21 miles
    2 x 22 miles

This guy will be running about 2:16-2:18 in the VLM ......and good luck to him putting that much effort in!
    Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
