Bimbled 10.56 miles in 1:45 today, naturally for us Ultra runners it took 3 or 4 miles to get into it
Cruising along quite happily and even ran up a evil hill (albeit slowly
) on the way back home. Could of happily carried on further but the beginnings of a blister had me home instead.

Tell him it might be a idea to wait until tomorrow as i forgot to mark on my training spreadsheet when i am on call as there is bound to be a clash somewhereDebt free Nerd number 1122 LBM Jan 2009 Debt @ LBM £40,086.88 (14/01/09)

ah ha now we are cooking
still not figured out how to transfe data direct to sporttracks via the wireless Ant stick on my Garmin 310 but i can export data from Garmin's crappy training centre program and import it into sporttracks. Handy chiefly because Sporttracks has the sattelite mapping plugin which gives somewhat more accurate elevation data.
Will see what the differences are after my bath, besides being i was only on 39% battery the 310 could do with a bit of charging up, first time since i got it.Debt free Nerd number 1122 LBM Jan 2009 Debt @ LBM £40,086.88 (14/01/09)

Thanks, Simply.
Yep, the mileage is not too bad but I'm more happy with the way the 'easy' pace has progressed over the last few weeks.
Today was a dry run for next week when I'm hoping to run 10 miles at roughly today's pace, ie about 1:15, and then race 10 miles to see how much strength there is approaching the 20 mile mark. I could fall apart but wont know until I try!:p
Oh, and you can hardly blame your body for needing a bit of rest after that tough 22.5 miler last week. Considering the underfoot conditions for the first 12.5 it was probably the equivalent of knocking out a 25 miler.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Right girls and boys - I need some help and advice please!
Last year I started to get the occasional hot flush during the day - a bit of a strange sensation when you're only a mile into a run and start sweating like you've sprinted a couple of miles. I can cope with these although it can affect my pace during races as it's difficult to push hard when there's a bit of internal combustion going on.
My big problem is lack of sleep - I've started getting night sweats and haven't had a full night's sleep since the end of November. I'm waking up tired in the mornings and it's making me feel generally run down and lacking in energy.
I hardly missed any runs during my training for Abingdon but this time round I'm finding it much harder to keep to my schedule. I eat healthily, don't drink much alcohol and am taking supplements to try and minimise the symptoms.
So ............... has anyone got any hints or tips? I appreciate that this won't ever affect some of you and for others it's many years off but it's affecting my consistency and that just is not on. :rotfl::rotfl:2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -

Hmm, so do you think that this morning's tiredness could have more to do with last week's exertions than my lack of sleep? I must admit that I haven't been taking the recent conditions into account - I just assumed that I was going through a bad patch.2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -
I suspect you know what it might be
The way you are describing it sounds pretty annoying! I used to get sweats around my period but depo has seriously curtailed that - its due to the increase in body temperature, it has also caused cramps in the past - I still get it occassionally but its much better now...
So I suggest talk to your doctor - but there may be some contraceptive that can help ease your symptoms to help increase your consistency0 -
I also agree you may be tired - I could only do a 10 miler last weekend remember0
