Yeah, it will probably be Bromley. I like that one for some reason
I'll take the 12 miler as it comes and cut it short if required or even extend it if I'm feeling good.Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -

Well, to use one of Rich's positives - I'm sure I'll feel a lot of benefit from that run in due course. :rotfl: It was just a little challenging this morning - a bit warmer than recent days, a nice refreshing shower of rain, puddles where pavements had thawed and slippery compacted ice where they hadn't. A lovely mix of surfaces
Well done on the runs catspaw, KYCU and mascott. So who's going to miss the challenge of the snow/ice once it's thawed??

As things stood last night it was looking likely that a rest day would have been needed today. So, as a sign of how well the muscles are recovering and hence how the nutrition must be pretty good, tonight's run must go down as a really positive message.:D:D
There was actually some bare, non-slippy tarmac to play on out there for a pleasant change although it is getting slippy again now that the temperature is dropping once more.
Simply - you'll get a lot of benefit from that run in due course!;)
BT - Good luck at Bromley, although too much of a thaw could make it rather soggy.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Hi all :hello:
Well between snow, ice and a bit of laziness I'm a bit behind schedule with my training - I've still been out a few times a week but it's been 2-3 mile plods around trying not to slip over. Keeping up a fairly steady 10 min/ mile though which isn't too bad!
Got a belated birthday weekend with my two best mates starting tonight so there will be lots of food and drink (hopefully a long walk tomorrow too though if the weather isn't too nasty). As of Monday though please severely kick my *rse if I am not reporting in with regular, proper, training-plan-compliant-or-as-near-as-can-be type runs!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Thank you
No run for me today. Rest day and enjoyng it. Bit tired and hungover from last night anyway. Going out for dinner with my wife tonight
Anyone parkrunning in south London tomorrow? I will be going to Bromley. As rich said, it's likely to be soggy, but not as soggy as Roundshaw!Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0
