How can anyone criticise a race for 'only being any good for PBs and spectators':rotfl:

Jeez, if you want to go sight-seeing, go rambling in the brecon beacons or something. If you want to run a 10K then being good for PBs and spectators pretty much ticks all the boxes in my book.....:D:D

I'm really looking forward to this one, running around the Mercedes test track!!!

Is this the race you are doing then?

Sounds cool - but I am NOT going to race 2 weeks before the marathon or I WILL get injured - please remind me later... :p

Yep! 2 weeks before is absolutely fine...a nice sharpener.:D

But since its good for spectators you dont need to be too concerned about giving up the opportunity of a pb...;)

Catspaw - I dont know much about ultras - Kms is your man probably :)

What I would say is you are going to have to get some longer distances in - I would guess 22 miles plus?? Not sure what the ultra rules are on distance!
