I was not about to eat Rich;s arm until he kept talking about food!!

Anyway am very thigh sore today so feel good about the run despite the short distance

Not sure what to do this week if racing Friday and Saturday...move rest day to Thurs I guess but should I do intervals tonight and tempo tomorrow?? Hmmmm

My thighs are very sore too....that run was the equivalent of 13.6 miles on sand dunes - should get some nice benefits from that!:D

Well done on another new PB Becky! :T

Hmm, so I was heading off for a run on Sunday, had to walk home first and managed to slip on the ice and fall on my knees - ouch! They were achy for the rest of the day but seem to have calmed down to just big bruises now. Gritters have been out this morning so hopefully I'll be able to find somewhere non-slippy to run later!

I am being a wuss and not running again today. Ice rinks on minor roads and pavements still. May try to head out tomorrow depending on what thaws (or is gritted) today. Try to run off the work Xmas do tonight!

No run for nearly a week from me because of the ice around my way. And I don't mean a little bit, I mean the entire pavement completely covered in a flat sheet of ice. No new snow on top of it to add a bit of grip.

Might have to join the fashion victims at "Nike Town runners" on Tuesday night if things don't improve soon.

Then again, at least over the Christmas break I'll have the chance to travel to some outdoorsy places where I can run in undisturbed snow.

Becky - Is that the stockport based one? Raced there in sub zero conditions last december, wasn't fun as my water had ice in it

No this is a newer South Manchester one in Platts Field - 6th running on Saturday...

Which reminds me - I hear rumours of a newcastle one too - do you live up that way or are you more Cumbria side??
