xnatalie81x - ((((hugs)))) natalie... You have a lot on your plate so getting upset when you neet some practical support from your OH is natural.
BB - Glad you are ok but take care... It can really floor you a bit later on.Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!
MFiT-5 no 45You can't fly with one foot on the ground!0 -
BB big hugs to you too!
Gee what is it like for everyone at the moment!!
I've just done some Christmas shopping, using an Amazon voucher that I got from a survey and some 'ipoints'. Only spent £1.58. I think that's everyone, now. I already had some bits and pieces in my present drawer so all 'extra' people covered.
I just have to buy the WII. I tried to get it today but it's now out of stock, typical. I should have bought the other day when I was searching. as its our family present I guess it doesn't matter if I get it a bit late. I'll just have to keep checking the site.0 -
Iggle piggle toy I ordered from MR A yesterday has already arrived. So theres a little present for DGD. She is mad on igglepiggle!.
The electric board are coming to change my meter, 29th January!! earliest they can do it. So if the meter is wrong, as suspected its going to be a hell of a bill to sort out!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Thanks peeps. The main thing is , I'm ok.
SFT - just realised I missed your birhday yesterday - hope you had alovely day (well the bit nit at work lol) and sf - have a restful and restorative birthday weekend.
On the really positive side, the financial big stuff/project I alluded to with my OH is coming on really well: I'd call it a seismic stunning shift in his thinking now and although alot of work is so worth it. It means we can move forward properly together with 4k heads on.
Need to make a 21st birthday card tonight. Family have set up a money pot for this relative asking for donations of £2, ONLY if people want to give (large party invite, could be 100 there, though very low cost do). How great that his parents have considered that many do not have much spare at the mo, but money would be be more use to him in his current situation than 60+ sets of aftershave or trinkets. And of course those who can will give a little more. I like the spirit of that.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
(((hugs))) to those who need them
Belated birthday wishes for SFT
(don't know if I missed a mention in the last couple of days, as I will confess to 'skim reading' due to the extra hours I've been doing at work!)
Got my first pay cheque today in just over 12 months - and it feels GREAT :T I got some reduced-to-clear donuts for DS and I by way of a celebrationCheryl0 -
:T:T:Twell done cheryl: that's a great achievement and the only proper way to celebrate:D.
I've been skim reading a bit myself too.
When I was renewing my car insurance in Feb I really toyed with whether to pay the extra £25 to get a curtesy car in case of accident. I am so glad now I did! MSE doesn't always mean paying the lowest you can, you do have to stay safe and be practical too. Would cost us a fortune not to have a car at the mo with OH working in middle of no where and other stuff going on at the mo. Been on to insurance company and hopefully all in motion now. I also paid to protect my no claims bonus.
Was tempted by takeaway but remembered luscious HM lasgne in freezer and it was just the comfort food required. Yum.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
DH back from work...having spent £170 on a satnav to replace the one that was stolen. 'I know we can't afford it' he says as he takes it out of his pocket...
AAAHHHH!!! I guess its going to be a case of me saving money to cover his overspends...if I'm really lucky I still might have something left in my savings! MEN!!!0 -

Agh, on your behalf! But will he be able to claim it back on the insurance? As with the cost of the passport etc etc? I hope so.
Going to have words with twin1 today, take DGD over to see her, but tell her that she must come here at least a couple of nights a week, to share in the care of DGD. Then I can point her in the right direction, and she can take some of the load off of me. As DS is often not here at night, then she can sleep in his room.(Will need to clear it up a bit mind you,).
I am a little annoyed that she is now going out at night, clubbing etc with her friend and I cannot even see my BF without her baby in tow!.
Dont expect to have any spends today. Will be keeping my purse tightly zipped!.:rolleyes:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
