Hi Everyone!
Been logged off for days and not been able to get back on. How frustrating! Been able to read but not respond to...
Bails-Oh I wish I was with you to give you a big hug..I know you're disappointed. But I echo what's been said about things happening for a reason..there is something better out there for you. I just know it.
BB-So glad you're ok after the crash.. Lots of hugs for you.
SF-Hope you're having a great birthday weekend.
Bails/BB/CW-Thank you for my birthday wishes. I had a lovely day. A few presents from school-including biscuits for cheese and a scarf a friend got me from Peru-lovely and warm. Mr SFT cooked me a lovely meal. Got some money and YHA vouchers as presents from family too which I hope to use for a weekend break with my parents in Suffolk next year.
Chika-Well done on completing your final placement.
Hugs to everyone else..esp Frankie, Natalie and Mooloo. Keep your chin up girls.
Will post again later..I've got alot more to say after being kept away but must pace myself.
Take care

Good morning all,
My absolute intention for today is to get as much housework done as possible. This was meant to happen last week, but my MIL called me to ask for a lift and I was out for hours.
So today is the day. I think that DH is due home next Saturday, so I want it to be all spick and span for then. Also, if I am indoors, I won't spend much money.;)
I've still to get some christmas presents in, hopefully this will be organised by next weekend. I know what I've to get, so no great hardship here.
Will need to make a start on the cards, I usually have these written in October or somewhere thereabouts, but didn't get round to it this year. Never mind, I'll get there just the same.
I got some christmas food shopping last night, prawns etc, I think Mum is getting the turkey, so that's taken care of. I'm looking forward to the challenge starting again. The diary will not go out of my site as I lost it last year, so this kind of wrecked my challenge. I am thinking of 'all in' like cheryl does, am swithering between 8 and 10K. Even the upper level will still give me a good bit of cash to either pay debts or save. The 10k will also include a possible holiday I may be taking, so if I go on this holiday, the amount will defo be the 10k. Now, I'd better get moving and start the enormous task of cleaning this messy house up. Will check in later. xx0 -

I was away when you posted but you were near me! Hull is about 30 mins drive from here so we could have met up , if you get down thee again let me know.
Been mad here Got 3 essays finished and ready to hand in and have another one and a presentation to do for mid Januaury which i am hoping to get done before the holidays so i can relax , beginning to get worried about Yr 3 now as this year has been really manic and i will have 2hrs travelling a day next year on top of classes as the final year is done at Lincoln Uni itself rather than at the satellite college in the local town.
Plus side is my next grant payment is due on January 4th and i have'nt touched septembers yet!
Having a quiet day at home putting xmas decorations up and recycling all the wine and beer bottles from last night!(birthday bash) leftover takeaway for lunch and got a chicken in the oven for dinner Might do some baking later as i want to give some fruitcakes and date and walnut cakes as gifts next week

Hi Everyone!
Quite a way through my book now. Will make sure I pass it on or ebay it when I've finished.
I was quite touched by a story in it when the author meets a mother who nearly lost her son ..but he was saved by passer bys. From then on the mother has been giving and giving to strangers, as a way of giving thanks.
The mother told the author 'we all have enough to give something away' so my new resolution is to give something away everyday-not neccessarily a material item, maybe my time..I can be inventive..
Going to get a notepad in a minute and write numbers 1-365 and start my challenge tomorrow.
Well we've been out for a lovely walk in the area. Lovely blue skies and the westerly winds aren't cold. Mr SFT's car was playing up yesterday after collecting the wood (some of which is now in our new wood store but there is still plenty to cut) so we're going to give it a little run up to Mr T in a minute.
Our neighbours (who barely live on the other side of us-not the lovely couple the other side) have chucked out wooden chairs/an office chair and a B and D workmate work bench (which is a little rotten but still good to use) . It is all piled in their driveway. The bin men have been ignoring this pile for weeks. So Mr SFT has taken the workbench but the rest is just left. Shame they didn't think of freecycle..
Have a great day all
