There is a big Paperchase by my work on Tottenham Court Road, is it that one Poddle? I always buy birthday cards from there. Oh and Happy Birthday for Friday!

My Mums cats have taken to standing in the kitchen all day waiting for their next meal. One of them has taken a sudden liking to human food which it never had before, so we reckon it must have eaten at someone elses house. It now climbs on the table and worktop, which is driving my Mum mad!

That's the one Wendz! It's lucky I don't go there more often - I want to buy everything!

i feed my cat when I get home from work so now he thinks that he gets fed every time I come through the door and gets very shouty if he doesn't get a second (or third) dinner!

I got a pet's eye view camera for my birthday which you can attach to your cat's collar and it takes photos at regular intervals. I'd love to know what Jasper gets up to during the day but I can't bring myself to put it on him - it just seems so mean :o

Can you not book it once you have say 25%? Just with the best will in the world Birdie you don't have much time for extra money making, or energy when you do have the time, and you need to be certain you can do it before committing to something you then can't pay for. Its not like they'll fill up if you wait 2 months to see how you go financially.

It's not about them filling up it's about booking it whilst we can still get an early booking discount. TBH I think I'm over-reacting about how much it's going to be, it'll be about £1.5-2k for the Dominican bit, and Cinny's right, we get an extra discount through work. It's the honeymoon bit that could be the bank breaker, I mentioned not going to Florida last night to OH and he was having none of it! Once he's got a goal though he's a saving machine. I just think we'll have to cut back on the Florida bit and stay in a cheap hotel, it doesn't really matter about the hotel there anyway, we're hardly going to spend a lot of time in the room and it's not the kind of place you spend all day by the pool at the hotel. If you want a pool day you go to Typhoon Lagoon! Anyway... we'll see what we get quoted. We could always go to Florida the year after if we think it'll work out better financially.

Cinny, I think your idea of getting the Mulberry bag is a good one! After all the times you've been messed around this year you deserve a good present! :D

What a cool idea! I'd get one for OH's parents' dog but the photos would be realy boring; it'd be bed, bed, bed, sofa, bed!

That's what I thought! I behaved though, I saw they do Arcadia vouchers so I've put my share of the points into those so I can buy myself something in the sales. :j

Poddle - I've seen those camera things. Knowing my luck if I put it on Pippin he'd lay on it and I'd just have black pictures, with an odd shot of the cat bowl everynow and then :D

I'm all for saving cash, but aren't you supposed to spend most of your honeymoon in your hotel room?! :D

Seriously though, how long will you be in the Dominican for the 'wedding moon'? If might work out better to go to Florida at a later date?

Lol we're picking the Maldives hotel based on having the best room we can since we're going to be in it so much! We were briefly considering going elsewhere since its rainy season, however NIM pointed out if we have to spend time indoors, thats what honeymoons are for, so I'm game to take advantage of the off peak prices!

We live together; honeymoons aren't exacly what they were back in the day when it was the first time you got to be together for an extended period of time! I doubt a fancy suite will change what we get up to! And OH will always come second to Mickey Mouse!

The plan at the minute is to go to the Dominican for a week, get hitched and fly up to Florida for 2 weeks. We don't even know if they fly to Florida from there so we may not be able to do it!

    :rotfl:

I know what you mean though. Honeymoons used to be the first real time that a husband and wife had alone, but its not so much like that anymore.

Haha Birdie, I am the same would prefer to be seeing Mickey Mouse , how bad is that.

My Mums cats go in other peoples , we only know this as the neighbours once said in the pub they found our cat curled up on their sofa and once one of them nicked a usb stick from next door. Would eb quite interesting to have a nose into their houses!
