I'm trying this new thing out tomorrow. Getting up at 5am  Was talking about it with people yesterday and I was told it makes you more productive ect

    How's that then?

I don't have a clue if I'm honest. But if they say getting up at 5am makes you more productive then it's worth a try in my books, and if all fails I can crawl back into bed as I'm not at work until 12.

I'll leave you to test that theory out! I think if i got up at 5am i'd spend at least two hours trying to stay awake!

Im so thankful that i work afternoons, but Thursday and Friday i have to be in work for 8:30, havent decided what time to get up yet but my train is at 8:00.

I disagree with the theory that you're more productive getting up at 5am! I did about a month on 6-2 shift and I was knackered! I was in bed by 8.30 every night and felt like a zombie!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I like the idea of it, mainly cause I'm a morning person but I'm not 100% sure. Just doing it because I'm curious more than anything. Writing a list up of stuff I want to do so I can focus, we'll see how it goes!

And it's home time. Off to sort the vans out and lock up the yard. Have a nice night everyone !! x

Been very bad this evening! Spent it watching telly, [STRIKE]scoffing[/STRIKE] slowly eating quality streets.

I have, on the other hand, made lists! A to do list for tomorrow morning (if I do get up at 5am) and another is a to buy list. My mum can't come shopping with me on Friday anymore so I'm going to go into town tomorrow instead. Have a list of stuff I want to stock up on - like I said I mareswell do it while I have the money spare. Going to go proper MSE on this though, I have prices of the stuff from Boots so I'm out to beat that. Thankfully my town is full of bargain hunters so I have the typical savers, homebargains and B&M to look around.

Glad I am not the only one Birdie hehe. To be fair when we had been together a year, we were probably still at it like rabbits but five years down the line I am happy for it to be less frequent. Has anyone seen the sex and the city episode where Miranda and Steve go on their honeymoon and she can't stand lying down and relaxing all the time, reminds me of me haha.

Well done on the to do lists Cinny, I am not so sure about the 5 am start though! You must be mad.

Dont watch Sex and the City, but that sounds exactly like me. Lucky that OH is like that aswell otherwise we would have some serious problems. Im not a morning person, but once i am up i cant stand to be just sitting around - even if it is in a nice sunny country!

Sounds like its just Dinah and NIM at it like rabbits then :rotfl:

This morning was disastrous. First my alarm didn't go off, but I got up at 5:15am. Then my laptop took an age to load and then the internet connection kept failing  So I rolled back into bed at 6:30 for an extra hours kip :D Managed to get a couple things ticked off my list though so it wasn't an utter fail I guess.

Haha, I love that episode! When Steve asks to wash her hair is the best bit :rotfl: But I get what you mean, reminds me of me too!
  • Oh dear Cinny - I guess that's that theory out the window then!

I don't think I've seen that SATC but Miranda's my fave and definitely reminds me of me a bit.

Your new avatar's cute, reminds me of the Samson & Goliath designs? It always confuses me when people get new pics though!
