Woo well done Flower - still need to do some of ours but have got ideas for most people now, getting OH's sisters all vouchers so that is easy. Need to get both our Dads, OHs brother and my sister. Will find out what she wants later.

New Moon was near terrible though, but Jacob was unbelievably gorgeous! I mean, as if you'd pick a skinny, moody, pouting vampire over a scrummy, toned, lovely werewolf... *ahem*.. anyways.

Thanks Cinny, thought I was the only one who thought that! Went to see it on Friday, my friend brought Twilight on dvd beforehand as had never seen it, wish I hadn't bothered! Both were terrible and oh so boring. I will admit to thinking wow at Jacob though :D

As for Christmas presents, I officially finished mines on 19th Nov! :j

You're all show offs! I haven't done anything yet - oops! Sounds like you had nice weekends :) except for the phone-losing incident, Tete...

I feel like all I've done is eat and drink for the last 3 days!* I had Friday off work (as it was my birthday) so I stretched the celebrating out as long as I could :D But I'm quite happy to be back at work and punish myself tonight at spin.

Your budgeting is looking good Cinny. If this thing with OH is really bothering you then have a chat with him about it, as he might not realise how hard you're working to save and that he's undoing all your good work!

*By the way, I don't mean that as a bad thing

I hated Hair Supply, it left my hair totally caked in stuff and I worte a scathing dooyoo on it, but I know a lot of people love it so it must depend on hair type. I love Aussie :D I also have a few Nails Incs that a friend got me for my birthday, and although they're pretty good once they're on I don't think they're s nice to apply as Barry M. Don't listen to OH Zig, red nail varnish isn't tarty, it's kitsch :p

I'm interested to see how Hair Supply is with my hair then, but I think I have hair more similar to Cinny's so hopefully it'll be nice! I've never tried any Barry M stuff, I think I should cuz I'm always hearing good stuff about it. Ha, I won't listen to him! Red nail varnish is lurvely. :p

Tete, have you found your phone?

I don't know what all the fuss is about when it comes to Edward! I love the vampires on True Blood, but when it comes to Twilight/New Moon it's definitely all about Jacob. :D

Sounds like you're doing very well as usual! You gonna keep doing this budget plan from now on?

Happy Belated Birthday Poddle! Sounds like you had fun!

My sister can't get over Jacob! :rotfl: She really loved the first one but thought New Moon was total cheese fest. I mean, the floating Edward head was pretty hilarious!!

It isn't majorly bugging me, it's just he seems to take it for granted I'll back him up or loan him money if needs it? I don't mind that either really - I just want a thanks more than anything!

Not doing well on my list. Spent the afternoon snuggled up with Pippin reading and knattering to my mum so it's kind of sped by :o BUT OH is coming over tonight *yaaay* cause he's working near me again tomorrow. So I've had to de-cat my room again after I gave Pip free run of it this morning.

ETA: Oh my god, how blind am i! I didn't notice Poddle saying it was her birthday on Friday :o

That must be very annoying having to constantly de-cat your room! Good that your OH is coming over though.
If i had to de-cat our room it would take me forever! I think shes still wary about being with new people so she just kinda hibernates in our room - suits her fine. I know cats are supposed to sleep alot but she comes to bed with us and is still in the same position at mid-day the following day!

  • What doesn't she get up for her breakfast? Mine always get me up on a weekend when I'm having a lie-in! My OH isn't allergic or anything but he's a right sissy when it comes to having cat hair on his clothes, he has one hoodie which is already 'ruined' and that's all he wears when he comes to mine.

Nope, phone hasn't turned up. :( Sure it must be in the house though as it's still ringing - if anyone had found it they'd surely answer or would have taken my SIM out if they wanted it for themselves?

Happy Birthday Poddle, hope you had a lovely time :) Mine's on a Friday next year and we're going to Edinburgh on the Thursday so I'll be making a full weekend of it too :D

Happy Birthday Poddle! Mines was the Monday before (16th) and OH took me to Edinburgh for the day on the 14th! It was brilliant, although a full day there with all the shops and pubs really took it's toll. Someone was talking about York at one point, I'd love to go there for the weekend next year!

Have you got a contract on your phone Tete? Hope you have put a bar on it, incase someone else does try and use it.
