I'm looking forward to trying the S&G hair supply - it's in one of my Christmas presents so I'm gonna have to wait!

I'd be a bit annoyed too if that was my OH. They don't seem to realise sometimes how much effort we put into sorting out our and their money!

I painted my nails last night using the free Nails Inc one with Glamour magazine. It's the red one and I love it but OH says it's tarty! :p

He helped when I was saving, so I suppose it's only fair I help how he's debt busting. Sometimes I just think, you silly beggar! Had a word with him tonight though and vented a little. Things are alright now and he said sorry for spending his last bit of money on basically nothing.

Ooo, I want to try those varnishes Zig! Are they good??

My sister took one of the rolls of the Laura Ashley wrapping paper back for me today, so that's another £3.50 in my pocket! :D Woot!

It's hardly chipped so yeah it seems like a really good nail varnish! I went to Tesco to get another colour today but they only had the colour I've got - typical!

That's good that you haven't completely wasted money on that wrapping paper then! :D

What takeaway did OH choose then? We had a mexican meal which was lovely. It's so easy and fairly cheap so we have it a lot! OH is out now tho and I'm planning lessons and it's so boring.

  • :rotfl: at your granddad TPA - that's hardcore!!

Grr, yeah I can see why you'd be annoyed Cinny, but like you say if he helped out while you were saving then it's give and take, but that said there's helping out when someon'es skint and then helping out to subsidise their other spends...

I hated Hair Supply, it left my hair totally caked in stuff and I worte a scathing dooyoo on it, but I know a lot of people love it so it must depend on hair type. I love Aussie :D I also have a few Nails Incs that a friend got me for my birthday, and although they're pretty good once they're on I don't think they're s nice to apply as Barry M. Don't listen to OH Zig, red nail varnish isn't tarty, it's kitsch :p Oh and the Daily Mail don't know what they're talking about! How long have females been wearing nail varnish now? And yet the global population continues to rise :rolleyes:

I think I've lost my phone :( I had it in my hand on Friday night getting out of OH's car but haven't seen it since. And it's on silent as well as we'd been to the cinema. I assumed it was in my over-stuffed handbag but I've empted it and nada. I've even stripped the bed in case it had got down the side of the mattress but no. And I'm fairly tidy at the min too so don't know where it could be! :o Any ideas for strange placed things have turned up in?

Cinny - you have a right to be annoyed, why should you pay for things because he hasn't budgeted. I am paying my debt off because it is my own and not OH's and so I have to budget my own money and not expect him to pay for everything just because he has more money.

Tete - things sometimes do turn upin odd places, can't think of any now but hope you find it.

    Morning :)

Had a really nice Sunday with OH, went to the cinema like planned with his little sister - stopped off for some dinner on the way home and spent most of the afternoon snuggled up watching Come Dine with Me as the weather was terrible. New Moon was near terrible though, but Jacob was unbelievably gorgeous! I mean, as if you'd pick a skinny, moody, pouting vampire over a scrummy, toned, lovely werewolf... *ahem*.. anyways.

Not going to see OH properly until next week now, so setting myself a lot of money making goals to fill the time :)

Up to 17,410 points on DooYoo so I'm going to aim for the £25 Amazon voucher - as even if I was to reach 20,000 points today they wouldn't clear in time to redeem for this Thursday. So (kind of) 8,000 points to go.

Still 20 tracks off of payout on STP too so I want to make about £4/5 on there today.

Still have £20 or so in my purse from the weekend - but aiming for another NSW so might be able to add all of it to my extra money pot at the end of the week. Hoping to have about £50 in there at the start of Dec so I can use it as my 'spends' money and leave my wages untouched (well, moved into savings if I'm honest!) Wanting to go and grab a new pair of jeans + some £1.50 Primarni vests for when me and OH go away so that'll happily cover that :) Plus it'll mean a day out with my Mum before we go as she's nagging and complaining I spend all my time with OH. But when I try and make plans with her she puts off setting them in stone - and then makes the same ones with my Sister instead!! So I can't win really  But at least I'm trying!

And er, I'll stop rambling now! :rotfl:

    Morning Cinny,

Glad you had a nice time with your OH and good idea about keeping yourself busy until you see him next.

OH is 'only' working 58 hours this week so hopefully will see a bit more of him! Although my boss rang me last night and asked if i would work some extra hours so we might be a bit like ships passing in the night again! But means more money so its all good!
Not working today so going to try and get on with lots of money making, working mornings on tuesday and wednesday and then all day thursday and friday.

That's great Flower! :D Nice to have it all done isn't it? Fingers crossed you get to see your OH a bit more this week :)

My OH loves it too Wendz - I bought him the first book last Christmas and he read all 4 within 2 weeks  I was pestering him for what happens in the 3rd book though and all I got was 'Ee, Lass. I don't remember' Useful!
