ah, thanks for all the birthday wishes, girls! I did a very MSE thing on Friday (when I was out in London spending pots of money) and took an old travel guide to the Time Out office and got 3 brand new city guides for free! And it wasn't out of my way; it was just near the huge Paperchase where I spent happy times stroking all the paper (which takes up a whole floor!)

I'd love to go to Edinburgh; I keep meaning to book early for the festival, but I'm thinking about taking OH for his birthday next May. Which is sooner :)

  • Ohh, where is this enormous Paperchase of which you speak? The nearest one to me is a little concession in Borders and nothing like that, although there is a Hobbycraft next door...

Hadn't thought of that Swinstie, I'll give them a ring tonight thanks! York is lovely, but I am a bit biased being a bit of a Yorkshire lass :) Whereabouts are you Swinstie? Scotland I can see, but...

I'm about an hour from Edinburgh and half an hour from Glasgow, so quite central really. Have a train station right on my door step so can get to either easily. Will definitely check out York for the weekend next year sometime.

Yeah you should put a bar on your phone, it can always be un-barred by your provider if you find it. Hope so, it's a pain to lose mobiles.

Hey! Just a quickie (oo-er!) as I'm leaving in 2 mins to go home, yay!

Wedding-moon wasn't booked this weekend as OH went on a rugby coach trip at 11.00 Saturday morning (after we slept in, oops!) and didn't get home until 2.30am so was in no fit state yesterday to go anywhere! Useless boy! I'm dragging him to the travel agents next weekend though, I really want to know how much it's going to cost so I can set a goal!

Happy belated birthday Poddle, it sounds like it was a good one! And that sucks about your phone Tete, hope it turns up!

I'm not surprised but I am surprised IYKWIM that New Moon is Not Good! I didn't think the book was that good TBH. OH still wants to see it though, for some reason he really likeD Twilight, it really isn't his usual type of film!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

What doesn't she get up for her breakfast?

Nope shes more bothered about her dinner than she is breakfast - she has meat for dinner but only biscuits for breakfast - much to her annoyance im sure! Sometimes she follows OH downstairs when he gets up for work, then comes back up after hes left, but thats only if shes feeling particularly energetic! :rotfl:

Sounds very MSE Poddle :D That Paperchase sounds amazing! The one near me isn't too big, but I'm pretty thankful for that or I'd spend loads.

I agree with Flower, Birdie - I'd be dragging OH to book it if that was me! :D Hope you get it sorted this weekend though. Once you know how much it'll cost to go, will you be trying to save/make extra to pay for it in one go?

Done 2 DooYoo reviews and up to 18,710 points. Not the 1,500 I wanted but not far off! :) Have 2 things to take to work tomorrow to review and I've suggested a couple things.

Have 1 hour until OH gets here, so I'm off to STP. Just want to reach payout more than anything now, and anything over that is just a bonus!

Not long until you reach redeem level again! I want to get to 25,000 again before i redeem - need to try and find some more things to review though, running out of ideas.

Me too if I'm honest Flower! Still keep on finding odd bits though.
Got to £5.39 on STP so I've withdrawn it, still have £5 on the way from them from last week.. I think! :D

I'm wanting to get to £25 too Flower, but I'll no doubt redeem at £20 knowing me

Starting to write a list! Decided to stock up again on cosmetics ect. Going shopping with my Mum on Friday now, going to get those clothes I wanted for the holiday so thought I mareswell nip to Poundland (they closed ours down! :( ) while I'm there as I need conditioner, cotton pads ect. Thought I mareswell get the stuff now while I have the money spare incase I'm on a really tight budget when I come to need them!

OH is here now, shuffling around in the Kitchen making toast for his tea so I'll sign off for now. Have a nice night all! x

ETA: Just had last weeks STP drop into my PayPal account actually! :D So when tonights money comes in I'll have £10.40 - Very nice!!
