It's my sister wanting to wait until I'm 21 so we can play SATC and have Cosmos :rolleyes: So we'll have to wait for the Big City Adventure until then!

I can't wait to go to New York, 16 months until when we have it pencilled in!

Ooo, that's exciting Dinah!! I'm looking forward to my trip there and it's years away!

I'm going to start looking into Holiday ideas for 2010 this afternoon I think.. Not keen on going on holiday with my brother, sister and their OHs anymore - they seem to be constantly falling out and I don't want that on my holiday! Me and OH have settled on Cornwall so just need to find a place! OHs family are on about renting a Villa in France and we've been invited to go there, but would rather have a back up plan.

I'd love it if we could get to NY about May time but if we do get a place around then don't know how feasible that would be..

Admittedly excited, lots of walks to go on so I need to dust off me old walking boots!

Oddly enough I think Speyside is high up on my 'want to holiday' list, I used to go loads as a child. But thats the kind of place that can wait a few years and you can take small children to, might as well do the more adventurous (and expensive!) ones now. Don't think I've ever been to Devon or Cornwall, it'd take longer for us to drive there than to fly to Japan!

But Cornwall is lovely! One of the prettiest places, always loads to do too. I think me and OH are going to St.Ives as we've both never been there. Plus they have a Tate and a Cath Kidston

Aye I love the Dales. But I couldn't justify spending 10 hours to travel to another part of England, nice as I'm sure it is, its not a holiday in my mind unless its abroad, it's just a 'break'.

You can fly there, but I know what you mean it's not a holiday unless you cross water!
