Well after doing so much crocheting I am finding it hard to settle back to knitting and I am not enjoying Pudsey on small needles at all. But I will soldier on and then I am looking forward to a poppy or two!
Went swimming in the sea last night and all was well until as I was testing the water I dropped my mobile phone out of my pocket into the water. Its not very well yet!! So thats a nuisance.
Talking of yummy brownies I am making some this afternoon for some neighbours minus a couple for DOH and me of course. Another really easy recipe using cocoa instead of chocolate so maybe its the same recipe as yours ISOM
Check out some delicious recipes on Attic24 !!!!
Well I am going to have a quiet day here and get on with some crafting.I have an inner ear problem which sometimes makes me feel giddy with vertigo so when I feel like a fairground pony I keep a little quiet

Thanks chalky am alot happier without lodger not any one - will get another but that was a BAD choice made from panic rather than sence so lesson learned!
Thanks for the linky May will add one tomorrow! Have it on two local one but the more the merrier!
Choc brownie recipe (definately NOT fat free!!)
8oz butter (melted and cooled)
13oz sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
4oz plain flour
4 eggs
3oz cocoa
1/2 tsp baking powder
1'2 tsp salt
Melt butter and cool (or it will cook the egg!!) and then add rest of intredients (I did butter, sugar, eggs and then the rest) Bung in a square brownie tin and cook @ 180 for 40 mins. Always poor and seakay can confirm that they are deeelicious...if I dont say so myself! Darent look at more delicious recipes as a weeble already!!
Had a lovely morning knitting, chatting and planning (going to try and find some local groups as postage expensive...may have one already for romanian orphanage and will investigate cat sanctury, hospice and scubu) so at least will save on postage and people wanted a local one which is understandable...Then popped inf or a cuppa with lovely couple from church and was given lunch with much amusement as the spag and tom sauce was a year out of date but her oh and I didnt mind so joked that we'd see her up "there" if we kick it!!
babysitting tonight (will finish mittens, start new ones and post piccy tomorrow with finished tea pot cover!!) and nice quiet day (with church) tomorrow. Am really enjoying the mittens and v chuffed that AP wanted the patern...did think after that I should have just copied it for yo...sorry being dull! Happy to scan and email if that would assist?

No probs. I've been looking for the wool in the book. It's about £6.50 for 25g so I may investigate a cheaper option, but it does look lovely. I also copied the pattern for the hat and the corsage that goes on the mitts and hat - that's why I took so long, lol! I'm sure my daughter will love them.
Everyone - the chocolate brownie is lush, give it a go.
Lovely to meet everyone.0 -
Another vote for ISOMs fab brownies, very chocolatey, very squidgy!
Lovely to meet and chat while doing some knitting, anyone in Cardiff who fancies popping along to the knitting group I can verify that it's all very friendly and non-threatening and not at all competitive.0 -
thanks both...as for clocks going back from british summer time...an underestimation if ever there was one!!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0
