Maytaurus, they're fab! Thank you for the links but I don't suppose you've got any knit ones have you? I can crochet but prefer to knit if I can. They're to sell in my local National Trust shop next year so still for charity in a roundabout kind of way!
What am I still doing here? Really need to move or shall I take the day off and get on with some knitting? Hmmm, how tempting is that lol

All these lovely pictures. Beautiful :-) !!
No news yet about the arrival of my 3rd grandchild. Apparently her waters have broke, but the last I heard, she wasn't in labour. We've just tried to phone through, but their's no answer, so i'm assuming they are at the hospital. It's 1.30pm over there at the moment, that's if their clocks go back the same time as ours. One of my daughters has just said she's probably gone out to lunch :-) Somehow, I don't think she'd be in the mood for that lolA work in progress0 -

Hi peeps,
what an odd day weatherwise - mucky start (about 5.30) then beautiful by 9am then deteriorating through the day???
I'm still in a state of grottiness but my throat is getting easier - thankfully! I feel like I need a shower about every 2 hours, I've had 3 so far today, will leave it now 'til I get ready for bed. Dog has retired to her little rocking chair in disgust:rotfl:
I finished knitting the chunky cardi - needs pressing & sewing up now - not sure about it - seems a bit too thick to me, I'll see what its like when sewn up.
Kathy - sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday!
ISOM - designing your own patterns - well done you! Isoke seems to developing along normal pattern.
Salome - best wishes for the imminent birth, (Hugs)

Hi Salome - congratulations on the birth of your new granddaughter! I bet she's really gorgeous. Lots of (((hugs))) and good wishes to the whole family.
I woke up late this morning; I knew I would because I watched Electric Proms last night; Smokey Robinson was on and I couldn't miss it. It was absolutely brilliant but we ended up going to bed after 1am.
I'll catch up with you all later - have loads to get done this morning, unfortunately. Thanks for all the updates - they will be added as soon as poss!
