Got the buttons for the baby jacket, which is well on the way to being finished :-)A work in progress0 -

Thanks, Mrs Moneypenny - sorry about getting your totals wrong (you're NOT a pain!). The update is still being worked on and we'll make sure we get the numbers correct. I'm so glad you could see it without needing a google account; hopefully, everyone here will be able to see it.

Thank you for the card Maytaurus, what a fab card :-)
I've finished the jacket (phew) Going to cast on a snuggly snowflake baby jacket for the new little one to keep her warm over the few cold weeks that Alabama gets. Just something that can be popped on while being transported in and out of the car. Also going to pop on some of the charity sites to get inspriation as to what to cast on for a charity knit :-). I want to do something small that I can take around with me, so I have a project to attack when I get the urge lol.
I don't know if I mentioned, but I raised 10 children :-) 7 girls and 3 boys. Sadly our eldest son, the 3rd eldest of the 10, died 7yrs ago. He was 19. Anyway, no 8, who is nearly 17, loves knitting baby booties, so she is going to do some premmie ones :-) It's no 5, who is just 22 does the balnkets for the old peoples home. Number 2 is the daughter who's just had her third baby :-)A work in progress0 -
oh my goodless... well done you salome!! I always used to want a rounders team until I starting looking after children and realised how much hard work they were!! Off to start the crochet blanket or it will never be done!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

Wow, Salome, you're a brave girl! I stopped at two. Congratulations on raising what sounds like a wonderful family, although tinged with sadness at the lost of your son. I'm so sorry you had to go through that.
I hope it's not long before you meet your new granddaughter.
