Orkney Star - Jean is brilliant, isn't she? And she made my day mentioning Johnny Depp!

What the amazing Jean has also done is the most fantastic update that, following her patient instructions, I have successfully published to my blog (which, for those of you not familiar with the mysterious workings of this forum) you'll find by clicking into my name on the left hand side of my posts on here, then clicking into my Homepage.

I'm sure you'll all be delighted to see your names in colourful print and an easy-to-read format - it will make it so much easier for you to check that your totals are correct, and even easier for me to update without mistakes.

Thanks, Jean, I love you too!

I have just found a t-shirt DS auntie got him, with 'pirates and treasure' written on it (in one of his fave colours - orange!)....will wear this with his newly cut trousers, a homemade pirate hat (orange of course lol, and with lots of cars stuck on it, his favourite thing ever lol) and a black eye patch (which he wanted to stick a bee on lol).
DH will get me cardboard to make a sword and I will do a 'tache' on his face on Thur....will also wear his striped bandana bib for good measure!
Thanks again for the idea, it is not a perfect outfit but he will look like an individual orange and car-loving pirate lol!

  • Orkney Star - don't forget the TATOOS - Glad you have all the bits too
Moilier - well done that girl - I am really impressed with they way it looks - can I now go and DUMP by BLOB (blog created just for trying things out on)?
Kinsey - my least favourites in the activity book are the Tortoise and the kangaroo - because the little-ies take the heart out of the Tortoise and the baby kangaroo out of the pouch on the mummy lose them and I have to make spares - my DS used to hide them on purpose. Oh if the things are late for PSSO sale Mag /Alana in Stonehaven are having the next LH sale, failing that Lou will likely find a home for them. I have just thought about making bookmarks tonight for them, but I had better get a shift on.
Off to catch up with LH - back soon I hope

Thanks, Kinsey - I wish the window and the well was on our land! We do have a well which is very overgrown - a project for another summer, I think, but I'll take a photo of it anyway!

Jean - well done to you, not me! I only followed instructions! Thank you so much. Yes, you can dump your blob, although I was rather hoping you would keep it going!

Orkney - I bet your car-loving DS will look fantastic in his outfit!

Well, I'm going to hop in the shower then read through Jean's latest link - thanks for that!

evening all, not much knitting got done whilst i was away, and only two rows done since i got back, did manage to buy some more wool today tho, some stylecraft kontiki and some yo-yo from sirdar, which apparently is new.
no knitting tonight, going to have a catch up on thread, and a soak, as early start tommorrow, have to be in court for 9.30, and i'm absolutly dreading it, daniel seems to be taking it in his stride which is good, no point us both losing sleep over it.
