Hi everyone - it's been a busy day here today so I haven't had chance to come on here.

Chalky - welcome back. I'm so glad (and just a little bit envious!) that you had such a good time with Rod!

F1 - one lot of dust has been dealt with but there's still a lot more work to do, so I don't think I've seen the end of it yet!

Well, it's been lovely and sunny here today so I've managed to get loads of washing dry. Tomorrow I'm going to get a load of bedding plants. I've been putting it off because of the cool weather but I can always bring tubs and baskets into the conservatory overnight. I just want to get some colour going in the garden.

I've started sewing up the squares for my cushion and I've also found some wool in baby colours so I'm going to run up some 10 minute preemie hats as well. Any wool left over can be used for squares. It's great that squares and baby hats take so little wool - I love being able to use up all the odds and ends in my stash (and I'm also making room for some more once I've sorted out an order with Kemps!)

Well, I suppose I'd better go and start the dinner.

Hope you all have a good evening.

    Hi Everyone
Just popping in to say a quick hello. Just sewn up my oxfam jumper which isn't my best work. I'm really tired and managed to get the (very simple:o) pattern wrong for it but I don't think it's too noticeable. Can't seem to get anything woolly right at the moment. I had a wheelchair wrap on the go but have ripped it out twice because I keep ending up with different numbers of stitches in the different sections but have no idea where I am going wrong..... Anyone else done one?
Might start another square - at least it's little if I need to redo it .
Chalky, due to poor organisation, I don't know if I'll be able to get my squares to you this time. I'll probably wait until they have multiplied and send them in the summer.
Love the pics that have been put on here and would love to see sock knitter's princess
Hugs to all who need one

Chalky - I'm afraid once a mother, always a mother. I still worry about both my 'babies' even though one is 38 and the other is 28, and I know my Mum still worries about me. I hate being so far away from them all. It's just as bad when you have grandchildren, so there really is no reprieve! I hope you don't have any serious worries with yours? We're here if you need us. Sending you a virtual (((hug))) and a virtual pack of soft scented pink tissues.

Please don't think dear Kathy has " lost it". I posted earlier and then thought so many have more to contend with than me so deleted the post after a good sniff or two and then saw Kathy's kind words. Thanks Kathy x

Trying to knit a few blankets, And keeping busy with finishing items off eg putting buttons on cardies etc,

Well with my mom is ok, We are waiting on a scan as we will find out if what we expect is there or its a gall stone, As i didn't want to say anything but we found out there might be a tumor as they have found something but we won't find out for sure intil she has this scan in 2 weeks time, We are hoping and praying its just a big stone and then she can have this op to get the bloody gallbladder out,

i didn't want to say anything but i thought i should so people are aware why i am not around as much but i will say thankyou if parcels comes my way,

Thankyou to everyone who has asked about my mom it means alot Thankyou
